    I don't think I modified those values. That is a logical next step once I get the basic peace values right. I can then set the values for client stating to be slightly more restrictive. Although it is possible that if you combine the client stating WITH the offer of a peace treaty the AI's greater willingness to take peace may make it easier to also make them into a client state, as long as it's proposed in the same transaction.

    Hey is the rome version bugged? The game crashes with it installed and loaded at the top.

    Also get crashes on loading with the rome version aswell as the generic.

    Me too, just hangs on loading screen using Rome version.

    Here's the latest set of screenshots. Pretty happy overall, although Parthia is proving difficult to get to expand. I may have to give parthia a factional hit with eastern factions. Although I'd rather give that faction hit to the seleucids' satrapies instead, for some reason I can't do that since patch 8; for some reason non-playable faction attributes don't seem changable any more, for some reason I can't figure out.

    Haha it's coming. I was typing it up and noticed the posts from others about it crashing and figured that was more important.

    Weird, I will look into that right away...where is it crashing for you? On the game loading screen, or the campaign loading screen?

    That's really odd, it's loading up fine for me. I even deleted my versions and had it redownload the steam workshop versions in case it was a problem with the upload...still loads fine. Hmm.

    yeah game get stuck in an infinite loading screen right when you start the game.

    Well, that's certainly odd. There must be something wrong if you all are having trouble, but it loads fine on my computer. Sorry for the trouble. Can't think what could be wrong, it's not as if there's really anything all that new in this version.

    Here is a direct upload of the generic and rome versions. Can you try this to see if it's a problem with the file itself or with the workshop?

    Hmm, I was using 8, not 8.1 beta. That must be the issue. I am now updating to 8.1 beta and will try to figure out what the issue is and correct it. If it's just a matter of tables, which it probably is, I can probably fix it within 20-30 minutes. Sorry for the trouble. I must have forgot to upgrade to the 8.1 beta.

    That should get it straightened out for us once you get the mod updated for 8.1.

    Ok, I updated the generic and rome versions and they seem to work for me. Try it out and let me know. I'll be doing the same thing to the other 8 versions in the meantime.

    edit: All versions updated, seem to work fine for me. Let me know if you still have trouble. The problem was that for some bizarre reason CA decided to add some rows to the AI tables for the gallic campaign only that was messing things up.

    Getting GF aggro, screenshots are gonna hafta wait a couple hours.

    There's only a few tables involved, probably should be a pretty quick fix. Now if Steam would just stop messing around and finish updating it for me...

    8.1 beta slightly improves siege battles but nothing to write home about, most probably are using 8.1 to try out the AI.
