Regarding the Britons, here you go. I put both the Chosen Swords/Spears and the Champion Swords/Spears in because I think I swapped the unit icons around and now I can't remember which is which. As you can see, they're virtually the same unit. In my game, I treat Chosen Swords/Spears as mid-tier late game heavy infantry that can form the backbone of the Briton army. I treat Champion Swords/Spears as a more elite heavy infantry. Of course, one rung above them are the Hero Swords. Also, you can see from the multiplayer pic how their roster now looks - no more gaps. Apart from adding the missing Champion units and the Painted Riders, I've only had to create one new unit (Painted Spears), which basically just involved swapping the Painted Ones' sword with a spear.
I haven't yet added the Garamantians to my current game. After the 8/8.1 update I went back and deleted my old mod packs and haven't yet got around to putting some units back in.

Just discovered this thread. Looks like CA is going for this kind of "business" popularized by CAPCOM and their "On-Disc" DLC's....
About the Amazons, i think they are inpired in Scythian Female Warriors (excluding those with the round shileld), and for a logical reason, should be a part of this faction. After all, there's little, but still considerable evidence and claims regarding their existence.
Just put screens of all units that are working.

I need those Camel Cataphracts, Screaming Barbarian Women, War Pigs and Amazons. And i would most likely buy it day 1 if it was a dlc lol![]()
Disc Locked Content! God forbid anyone think that downloadable content would actually mean downloading the content..
American, French, Israeli and British government's ILLEGAL aggression against the Syrian people, without any proof for chemical attacks in Douma, and without waiting for OPCW to conduct their investigation..
Sons of *******, leave that poor, war torn country in peace.
If you are a citizen of one of these countries, then DO NOT ask any help from me on these forums, since, in protest against this aggression by your governments, I do not provide assistance/help anymore.
Let Syria be finally in peace.
A video of false chemical attack in Douma, Syria, which led to Western illegal attacks.
THanks goodness if it's DLC I will not have to buy most of the joke units.
But the corvus and harpax I want.
how can you add them to the game?
Can you show us maybe the corvus and harpax ships? I'm curious to see how they were modeled even if they don't work properly.
Harpax seems to work okay. I can't say for certain, but it seems to work fine. Corvus isn't actually in the game, the only thing that's there is that unit card. The actual ship model isn't in the files.
I've modded in all available units and with a few exceptions I'd say most of them are game-ready. Camel Cataphract was a pain to get in the game because I had to create a new camel_cataphract mount and I didn't really know what I was doing, but got it in eventually.

In the Steam workshop it's available the Harpax ship mod
Hi everyone,
These "hidden units" pose an issue:
IS this legal to mod them into a game without getting sued by CA?
Mods, Care to address this?
If these units are in a DLC based file which is locked.........I wouldn't touch it.
I do have the Harpax ship mod however........Hmmm wondering about this stuff.
Thanks,
hellas1
Hellas1, I really don't see this as an issue.
First, no one is making a financial profit, so no, there's no case of being sued.
Second, these units ARE NOT locked - if they were, someone with my basic modding knowledge wouldn't be able to get to them. They're just sitting there in the game files totally unused (alongside the other variant meshes that ARE being used). Download PFM and check for yourself.
If anything, the question should not be, "Are we allowed to use them?" but instead, "Why were they cut from the game that we all paid good money for (and are continuing to do so), resulting in unbalanced unit rosters?"
Implementing these units into your game is really no different than, say, giving Macedon or Pontus access to Thracian Warriors, which neither of those factions is able to recruit in the vanilla game.
Also, these R2 variant meshes are so easy to put together, as are the unit icons, that you could just throw something almost identical together and yet call it a 'different' unit. Instead of spending 20 minutes creating a new unit, you can now spend less than 10 minutes cannibalizing an existing unit.

Do you think its legal to cut contents from a 55 euros game, and sale them after "eh guys, look we made a new unit, its only 5 euros!"
They're such pirates! Brothers of Coast! Its have nothing to see anymore with the Expansion policy that was really beneficial to both sides, that implied a real work from them, a work produced in the monthes or years after the main game. Remember Alexander, Mongol Invasion and soon.
At your place, I wouldn't have any scrupules to release these hidden units as mods, you given 55 euros for this content, why should you pay supplementary costs??
Goddamn it... I was just thinking to myself while playing my Parthian campaign "Where are the armored camel kataphracts from Rome 1?"![]()
