Default Is it possible to replace archer/slinger volleys with continuous fire?

Hello, can anybody think of a way in which I can desynchronise the mass volleys of archers and slingers?

Instead of firing together, waiting, then firing again en masse, I want the unit to fire continuously but not just because I have buffed their reload time.

Thinking back to the musket lines of Empire and Napoleon I'm sure I remember a battle mod that somehow removed "volley fire" and changed all the ranks to fire at will thus enabling the effect described above.

Could I use the same technique for archers and slingers in R2?

    Thanks for any replies

I'd really like to know the answer to this question as well. If someone with knowledge could answer this, that would be great.

Indeed. I'd like to see this as well, especially if I can make it unit specific.

Which battle mod for Empire and Nappy did that? Can you give me a link?

Perhaps the bit that makes just the front rank of heavy infantry throw javelins could shed some light on the issue. Been trying at this since the Assembly Kit came out, but so far I don't have much.
