Error

I recently installed darthmod 8.1 patch but i always get this error at the end of installation:

"setup cannot continue because of the following problem:Unable to extract from Cabinet :Cabinet may have been corrupted"

Weird thing is that the game works, but i fear something can be missing because of this, or perhaps i will have problems later.

I installed the normal way.

Clean Rome Total War -> Patched 1.3 -> Patched 1.5 -> Installed BI -> Patched 1.6 -> Darhmod 8.0 -> Darthmod 8.1

And yes, in the same folder, no doubts about this.

Anyone having this problem too?

Maybe I am not the correct person to answer this since ..I have the core files.
So those who have dwnlded and have seen this pls report.
As I know from some who told me in my e-mail and PMs and also here in the forum, sometimes the servers get full, interrupt the download and this concludes to a problematic/corrupted installation.

But also a lot of things can be the reasoning.
Malfunction or virus inside the custom pc system per user resulting to bad network connections or bad function of executables...

Perhaps pausing and resuming on DAP may have something to do with this?

Im re-dowloading without DAP to try this.

Yes ..surely..do not use dwnld accelarerators for public servers such as rapidshare/filefront etc. ....they are better for ftp search

all you need to do is re-download which ever version it is that didnt download fully (8.1 patch final or 8.0 DM). download the file again and then install the mod and it will be fine. all it is is a corrupted download.

Yeah, just downloaded again without DAP and it works fine now.
