    Default The Sack of Maidenpool

    Sack of Maidenpool

Continuing his raids of the Riverlands, Lord Desmond Crakehall continues east to the city of Maidenpool, under the rule of House Mooton. He and his Stormcrow mercenaries arrive after looting the town of Stoney Sept and killing every defender. House Mooton still has a small garrison in the city, but it doesn't matter. The cause is lost, and they will either surrender or die. They are encouraged, for their families sake, to surrender.

    Commander:
Desmond Crakehall (+3 Pillager, +3 Siege, +3 Field Battle, +3 Survival)

    Crakehall Forces
    1,990 Heavy Infantry
    795 light infantry
    700 Polearms
    485 archers
    485 crossbowmen
    300 light cavalry
    200 Heavy Cavalry

ooc: No player is controlling House Mooton, so I assume they have a small garrison still in the city.

OOC: Can I get a roll if ravens are sent to Darry? Since I am their overlords.
"We all know whatmy brother would do. Robert would gallop up to the gates of Winterfell alone, break them with his warhammer, and ride through the rubble to slay Roose Bolton with his left hand and the Bastard with his right. I am not Robert. But we will march, and we will free Winterfell … or die in the attempt."

Same rolls as HB used for your other sacks:

    Rolled 20, they surrender.

    Rolled 17, 17,000 Dragons loot.

Rolling 10/20 a Raven can break the siege, rolled 15. A raven explaining that a mercenary company of a few thousands has laid siege to the keep.

After avoiding the hassle of killing hundreds, Desmond rounds up his men, and marches North.
