Harmund's army, recouperated after their betrayal at the Twins, was ready to march forward once more. Unable to take to the field and fight pitched battles due to their depleted numbers, Harmund resolved to instead lay waste to the Riverlands-Westerlands border area.
With Lord Crakehall having marched south, desolating Pinkmaiden as he passed, Harmund would swing north. The lands around Riverrun, north and south, would be laid waste by Houses Crakehall and Lefford, while the two large Lannister armies fought any major engagement: Lord Tully was cowering on the far side of the Trident, while the rest of Tully's forces were not accounted for. Harmund would have to exercise caution once he moved out from behind the shadow of Ser Guy's army at Riverrun.
As the army reached the keep at Branstone, which was simply ignored by Ser Guy's massed host as it marched on Riverrun, a rider was sent forth with a white flag. He called out to the walls, "We are sixteen thousand men! Yield, and you will live!"
A lie, for sure, but Harmund was in no mood to treat any Riverlander with mercy as long as they continued to fight for that craven House of Tully.

Re: The Campaign of Scorched Earth of House Lefford
Branstone:
Surrender Roll: 15/20 chance. Rolled a 7, so the garrison will surrender.
At most, Branston can be considered a minor settlement.
Minor settlement: A small town surrounded by a pallisade including a small garrison (usually with a maximum of 2+ fortifications). Capturing this settlement yields D20 x 1000 Stags, to be distributed by the King or Campaign leader
Pillage Roll: Rolled a 14, so 14 x 1,000 = 14,000 loot.
Turnbridge:
Surrender Roll: 15/20 chance. Rolled a 3, so the garrison will surrender.
At most, Turnbridge can be considered a minor settlement.
Minor settlement: A small town surrounded by a pallisade including a small garrison (usually with a maximum of 2+ fortifications). Capturing this settlement yields D20 x 1000 Stags, to be distributed by the King or Campaign leader
Pillage Roll: Rolled a 16, so 16 x 1,000 = 16,000 loot.

Re: The Campaign of Scorched Earth of House Lefford
The Lefford armies burned both keeps to the ground with cries of 'Remember the Twins!', putting everyone they found to the sword and carting off everything worth taking.
With this act, everything in the Riverlands to the west of Riverrun, including Riverrun itself, lay in ruins. The Riverlords had paid a dear price for their Lord Paramount's foolishness.

Re: The Campaign of Scorched Earth of House Lefford
A late missive arrives from the Queen
"To Lord Harmund,
It is my hope that you are well. Guy remains trapped in the Vale. While the sack of Riverrun is a salve to our wounds, we now require a feat of daring. Attempt to close the distance between yourself and Ser Guy. He has had little luck in determining where the Riverland hosts wait for him. He has moved as far west as Crow's Barrens, but will not venture further for fear of running into hosts from the north and allied Riverland forces. Battle is looming, and if it goes ill for him then you may be able to save his army from complete destruction. Happily, if not, then you may once again join forces and wreak havoc upon the Vale for their treachery.
Signed,
Aurelia Lannister
