    Default Next faction?

I want to get a strong, role playing faction with Kings in it. I was thinking of starting an AAR, but I have a huge list of unfinished campaigns. Here's the list. Rome, Ptolemies, Arche Seleukeia, KH, Mak, Carthage, Sweboz(technical difficulties), Getai and Aedui. As you can see, I'm not the type who sticks with something unless he likes it. But I really want other peoples opinion.

Not to different from me. I also have a long list of unfinished campaigns...
Once my faction becomes a regional power, I have a tendency to lose interest and move onto something different.

Same here. As a matter of fact, I've yet to win a campaign in EB...

I was thinking Makedon, but which is better between Seleukeia and Makedon?

Depends I suppose on your style of play or at least it does to me. I have changed a few things, but essentially same game, but I just like to play slow, defensively and within historic possibility. I give eleutheroi factions near by maximum garrisons, and Ai faction too with extra money. All factions top tier barracks in capitol at game start.
Few other things too. Playing as Seleukids suits my style lots to do within my empire eventually fighting 'The Syrian wars' and the wars against Parthia etc

The Syrian wars seems like a good idea, but after an exhausting WRE campaign, I want nothing to do with large empires that are crumbling. Better to make my own with its own faults than role play history's. I played as Makedon once, but gave up for a roman campaign. Plus, I've failed two Epeirote campaigns fighting Makedon, so I considered them relatively strong.

Whoops. Baktria is also on the list. One failed auto resolve can ruin a campaign.

And how does one give rep? I have heard this thing being mentioned many times, but tis a strange thing, which I noted as not worthy of attention.

On the left side of the screen, under the user profile there are two buttons - a triangle with an exclamation mark (used for Reporting inappropriate posts) and a sunburst. The sunburst is for Repping someone.
I beat back their first attack with ease. Properly employed, E's can be very deadly, deadlier even than P's and Z's, though they're not as lethal as Paula Abdul or Right Said Fred.

I don't think I ever finished a campaign in EB.

I restarted Romans (new computer, old save game didn't work), Ptolemies (became boring), Carthage (Romans surrendered Italy!), Baktria (several times),...

I've never finished one, but then, I've never tried to. I had my own goals and house rules and years of entertainment. Viva EB!

    Amen, son of Hellas.
Anyways, how do the Eastern Greeks compare to the Western ones in EB? Which ones are more enjoyable? Stronger rosters? Better cities?

    Check the unit rosters here.

Since enjoyment is a subjective thing, the only possible answer is: play them all and find out.

I pretty much live on that page. I checked everyone out. I can tell you almost all factional units of Makedon and Arche Seleukeia. However, I would like your own opinions.

Makedonia and AS have the strongest economy/infrastructure of the Greek factions. AS has the best roster (of all factions). Baktria is also very powerful when maxed out. All Greeks are pretty well off in that regard, though.
Personally, I prefer Baktria and KH. Ptolemaioi are fun as well, and relatively easy (unlike all of the other Greek factions).

Depends on which skin you're using. With the TWC skin, it's a green-and-white "plus" symbol. Anyhow, if you want to give rep, don't unmark the box that says "I approve of this post" (it is activated by default). A lot of people make that mistake.

My good Athanaric, of the Infantry guild warriors, I must hold you on your claim of the Seleukids having the best roster. Being a Carthaginian myself, I cannot help but notice this. There is no way on gods green earth that Arche Seleukeia has a better roster than Karthadastim, especially when you add in the regional troops.

With Saka, you need to micro like a Korean Starcraft player. Also, you'll have to "blitz" some provinces.

AS roster is more balanced, they have every type of unit in the game (if you include auxiliaries). They have:
    - better elephants than Carthage,
    - a better phalanx roster with a great AoR,
    - better archers (although Numidians are incredibly useful, they should avoid ranged duels with Heavy Persians or Syrian Archers). AS archer and slinger units have consistently superior range and armour (with the exception of the default Toxotai),
    - better access to horse archers (more of a geographical matter, but still), and
    - better heavy cavalry (Hetairoi and cataphracts in particular)

Carthage is equal, perhaps even slightly better, in terms of heavy infantry and light cavalry. And her economy is slightly better.

But which faction is the most enjoyable? That is the question.
