    The Sack of Pinkmaiden



    Lord Desmond Crakehall and his mercenary band of Stormcrows arrive in the city of Pinkmaiden with no resistance. With all Riverlanders being in the North at the Twins and others at the Bloody Gate, Pinkmaiden stands undefended.

    Crakehall Forces
    2,000 Heavy Infantry
    800 light infantry
    700 Polearms
    500 archers
    500 crossbowmen
    300 light cavalry
    200 Heavy Cavalry

    5,000 Total

    Orders
    1.
    Lives are not to be regarded. Kill everyone who remain in the city upon arrival.
    2.
    Sack the city for everything it is worth. Stem to stern.
    3.
    The City is to be
    burned and destroyed as much as possible.


    ooc: I understand the 9 hr waiting period, but it's impossible for any Riverland/Vale/Rebellious troops to get here in time. The official time of this occuring in December 11, 2013 at 12:00 AM -6 GMT (so 2 1/2 hours from this posting)

    Before I can roll this out, I will need some stuff clarified.

    1. Are the Pipers still being played by Adamat or are they an NPC House now? I can't recall Addy every making a post as them so I don't know their situation.
    2. If they are an NPC House then the city is not undefended as you have stated as it's mandatory for an NPC lord to keep 10% of his levies here.
    3. If they are NPCs then I will also need attack orders from you Celsius before I do the battle rolls.

    They're NPC. I never made a single post as them.

    Since they're are just a few hundred soldiers within the cities, a messenger arrives at the gates.

    "Those of you who throw down your arms will be allowed to leave the city peacefully and unscathed, along with a 5 Gold Dragon penitence from Lord Desmond Crakehall to aid in relocation and travels. Those who do not surrender shall be given no quarter nor mercy.

    Surrender Roll: Being out numbered 25:1, the surrender roll will be 19/20. If a 20 is rolled the garrison will remain and fight. Anything else means that the garrison will accept the call for surrender and open the gates.

    Rolled a 7, so the garrison wisely surrenders Pinkmaiden Castle to Lord Crakehall.

    Sack/Loot Roll:

    The city shall be deemed as a minor settlement.

    Minor settlement: A small town surrounded by a pallisade including a small garrison (usually with a maximum of 2+ fortifications). Capturing this settlement yields D20 x 1000 Stags, to be distributed by the King or Campaign leader

    Therefore, the loot roll shall be D20 x 1000. Rolled an 18, so 18 x 1000 = 18,000 dragons loot.

    Lord Desmond thanks the citizens for their compliance. After the sack, his men draw their swords and began to their march out of the city without paying a single stag to those who surrendered.
