High Resolution Problem

Hi,
I have a problem with high resolution within the game. When I change th resolution to 1920x1080, the campaign map look like 800x600 and it is very stretched and squeezed at once. It looks awful. I tried to change the config file but it does not work. I have windows 8 and radeon hd 6850 graphic card. Any chance to fix that issue, pls?

its the HUD and messages that pop up.

Nothing can be done. The resolution is fixed at 1280 x 1024 in the hardcode and we can't touch it. Mine is stretched at 1920 x 1080, too.

Pre 2005 logic strikes, again.
