Does anyone have a video tutorial on how to do a shield for the PFM?
My friend tried teaching me through text and I just don't understand it because it has something todo with Texture arrays, and pattern diffuses all stuffed into 1 giant varientdefinition.

1. You make a shield pattern in Photoshop or GIMP
2. Save the file you made in .dds format (Use DXT1 method)
3. Create a xxx.texture_array file in which you specify the path to every pattern you made in the .pack file (Look for expamples in my mod)
4. Create a 'Shield type' variantmeshdefinition file where you insert your newly created texture_array (STEP 3.)
5. Open the variantmeshdefinition file of the unit you want to have your new shield, and insert your new shield (STEP 4.) to the unit's shield slot
I'm planning to do a video tutorial sometime, but I just don't have the time atm.
