The City of Oldtown had become a large barracks. An army nearing 30,000 men as well as fleet numbering over 300 ships was gathering at the ancient city in preparations for a military campaign to the far North. The men who were participating in this campaign were the Lords of the Honeywine River, those Lords who had their lands connected to lifeblood of the Reach. Though shorter and smaller than the Mander, the Honeywine was much more fertile and populous holding several important population centers in all of the Reach including four of its most noble and renown Houses, Hightower, Redwyne, Florent, and Tarly. This was a strong army, an army that truly represented the strength of the Reach.
===========================================
A message arrives at the Arbor Queen requesting that Lord Cheltan Redwyne join the other Reachmen Lords to plan for the upcoming campaign.
Ulrick Tyrell announces that the latest command given by Victor, by the Queen's wise advice, is for the armada to sail around Dorne and strike at Gulltown instead.
Lord Cheltan is greeted by the Hightower guardsmen and led into the Great Hall of the Hightower. When he enters the room, he finds an organized mess as the nobles of the Reach and their gathered advisers were debating what course of action that they should take for the upcoming campaign. When he spots the Lord Cheltan, Lord Edric Hightower says “Greetings Lord Cheltan. I am glad to see you here safe and sound. Ser Ulrick Tyrell and I along with Lords Jon Tarly and Marcus Florent were discussing our plans for the coming campaign. It appears that the King wishes for us to sail our combined fleet Eastwards through the Sea of Dorne and up the Narrow Sea to launch an assault on Gulltown. The journey will be a long and hard one and by the time we arrive at Gulltown, we will have to be ready for a fight as no doubt that the city will be well defended by the Valemen. What do you think of the King's plan my fellow lords?”
Ulrick nodded. He had never enjoyed talking tactics or participating in meetings. Obedience was more natural to a younger brother. "However, capturing Gulltown would be dealing a heavy blow to the Vale's economy and morale. We might be able to land a little further out on that finger as not to be harassed by Valemen during the disembarking." He said, looking at the map.

OOC: The Army of the Honeywine is on its way to Gulltown as we speak. It should arrive there by 13:00 GMT on Friday, December 13, 2013. I assume that we will be besieging the city.
If I’m not back to post by our arrival time (which I know that I won’t be), here is my character traits for whoever is writing out the siege orders.
Ser Rolland Hightower
+3 Survival
+3 Field Battles
+2 Siege Battles
+2 Duels
Also, I apologize for not keeping up with this RP as I should have. I have focusing on studying for my finals and doing all of the mod rolls that I forgot about this RP.
