why the whole game collapses very often?

its really driving me crazy that the game often collapses and kick me out to windows when a new turn begins, when i read last turn issues, save the siege battles...
is there anyone who knows why? maybe i could do something or not do something to avoid these annoying collapses.
by the way, i'm running with Windows 8 in my Laptop Lenovo Y500 i5......

instead of bickering just report the post asking a mod to move to the tech sub forum

you can also answer such a basic question with basic common ground answers

verify the cache

disable all mods and start a new campaign

is it an old campaign on previous patches?

mp is somewhat broken now, if you are playing it, wait for a new patch

given the way that you described this can be a corrupted save, it happens, so try to load earlier the game
