    Default Graphic screwed up

Hi guys, i just installed my old copy of MTW GOLD on my new pc, the game runs, the campaign map is fine, but on the battlefield the graphic is screwed up, polygons continuously stretch all across the screen, making the game quite unplayable.

I tried to update my directx 11 with the microsoft directx 9 update ( it seems it does integrate the new dx11 with the old dx9, wich was uncompatible ) but changes nothing. I tried to make it run on winxp compatibility and it's just the same.

My specifies are: Pentium G3220 3.0 ghz with integrated graphic chipset intel HD, running on windows 7 ultimate with service pack 1.

Can it be the graphic card? Direct x? What do you suggest? Do i have to disable some kind of setting about the graphics? Like anisotropic filter or antialiasing?

Intel video cards always have problems running MTW. Some of them can't even start the game. You are lucky - campaign map works for you.
Hmm..what resolution do you use? Try to set 800x600 for both: battle and campaign map. How much video RAM and system RAM do you have?
Compatibility modes - try win2000 or even win98. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your Intel card.

Hi, i have both 1024x768 on campaign and battlefield, i tried 800x600 too but nothing changed, i read about AGP acceleration issue that could cause problems then i tried to disable it but still no good news. It seems this game runs on some kind of 32 bit mode because my system is 64 and i thought MTW shouldn't run on 64bit systems. However i disabled this AGP acceleration only in my 64bit dx diag, while in the 32bit dx diag it is still enabled, do you know how to disable it too?

I'm pretty sure the problem is related to some kind of new feature of intel graphic card wich is unsupported by MTW and causes the polygons to screw up. Do you know any good program that can set options for intel video cards? The standars intel control panel suck, it has pratically no options to tool around.

Maybe should i try medieval redux? I heard it is more compatible with modern machines.

PS: i have 4 gb ram and the video card has 256. I have the latest intel drivers too.

I still have 32bit system so I can't help you with 64bit options. I'm pretty sure the problem is not about AGP. I don't know any tools for Intel cards that give you more options than standard control panel. You can try the Redux mod but I doubt it'll help with 3D issues.

You can try to run the game in window (run the game with D parameter). But.. I really can't think of any good solution for you. The best would be buying some cheap/used video card (preferably ATI or Nvidia) and forget about that integrated crap.

I had an ATI x600 on another PC with windows 7 64bit wich ran MTW just fine with no crashes of sort, i just did want to knwo if i can solve problems with this intel trash chipset but it seems it's impossible. Ok thank you anyway for your suggestions.
