Default Might be one of the coolest new features

In M2TW you can only build a limited number of one unit. No more cavalry armies. : )
I did'nt do that anyway in RTW, but its much more fun if you do all you can to win.
Its going to add so much gameplay and... im going to say it... yes, im going to say it... realism.
Even when I dont like to argue with realism because its too much sometimes.

Anybody know when you're able to build more of one unit?
Maybe when building other units first, like you need 3 infantry, to be able to build another cavalry unit.

I think.. if you have castle.. you can hire more then one unit per turn..

And I don't think it is a limited supply of let's say cavarly.
You still have a unlimited supply however it takes a while for it to regenerate.
So yes you can still have cavarly armies but those will take time to create.

The regeneration of specific units for availability for recruitment, I wonder if it will be a fixed time, based on factors like population size etc, or be partly randomised, in the way that the mercanaries pools seemed to be in certain localities in R.T.W?

It would be jolly by now, if players-well at least the experienced ones could discipline themselves to try and keep to historically based army configurations, although some armies could be odd and historical(the English at Agincourt had mainly just archers)
Although the AI will now hopefully field a mixed more rounded force.

Uh read his post, he isnt claiming to be breaking news here, he is just wanting to discuss this aspect of the game.

Sometimes I wonder what some people think a forum is for.

As far as I know, that when you build your army, you can select up to so many of each unit in queue based on what your city / castle can build. You can build more than 1 specific unit at a time in the same turn, but there is a max.

If I understood it right you have a pool for every unit type. The better the unit type is all the smaller is the pool and mroe the slower it is growing.

    For example you have:
    10 units for low class,
    7 for middle class and
    4 for high class

Now if you recruit one unit type of all classes you can only recruit more
    9 low class
    6 middle class
    3 high class units
    until the pools grow again.

But the low class pool is growing faster than the middle class pool and this one growing faster than the high class pool.
So the result will most likely be that you won't be able to form your army only using high class units.
You will have a little bit more balanced armies, I think.
A good thing is that now due to that the ai will build balanced armies as well, so no more peasent death commandos.

Well if we limit topics to things that havent been discussed yet, there would be very little to talk about.

    I like that idea,
As far as I know only a small percentage of armies where knights in shiny armor.

Most where low lifes with weak equipment.
