    Default Expanding Generalīs longevity ?

    Hello
Iīm playing Stainless Steel 6.4 as England and i would like to setup for my generals (King/ heir and all others nobles) to donīt die so quickly of age or to make the time donīt pass too fast, for example 12 turns to pass a real year ( just like in BYG V but without using this mod since this is too hard for me)
    is it possible???
    thanks

I realized that going to "data/world/campaign/desc_strat and altering the dataline from 1.0 to another one will just change the turn year, but not change the Nobles Age. i want to slow down their ages time.

Well if I am not mistaken,I believe there is a mod called "Live and Prosper" which allows your generals and lords to live more years than usual...and about turns per years, there is a very nice mod called "Meneth's Sub-Mod Compilation". There you can find many mods combined INCLUDING the one you seek, although it is 2 turns per year.

Sorry if it wasn't enough to help you...

    1) This should have been asked in the Questions thread.
    2) By changing the timescale in descr_strat you will get more turns per year. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=175383
    3) If you just delete the aging script in campaign_script, generals will age one year every two turns instead of every turn, so you'll have them twice as long.
    4) The maximum age of generals can be changed in descr_campaign_db. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...astation/page2

there's a much easier one, go to campaign_db in the data folder and there should be a maximum age setting somewhere, just set it as high as you want (I don't think there's a limit, but to be safe type 99)
1180, an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity in East Asia, it's technology and wealth is the envy of the world. But soon conflict will engulf the entire region with great consequences and lasting effects for centuries to come, not just for this region, but the entire known world, when one man, one people, unites.....

I already told him that, RW.

The limit is 150, but you might not want your generals living that long since it's not realistic.

Yeah, a 12 months/turns per year would be much more realistic than a 100 years General, imo. Although i dont know if in one month, the medieval armies could march a few hundred kilometers.

You can change how far units move on the campaign map.
