would opend this thread to notice what I suppose is a bug of Rome II.
Well, everyone involved with use of many unit-mods knows that you can add without any problems tons of new units to hellenic faction (look, for example at the rain of spartan units) same as to other ones.
Despite of this, only one faction gives me problem everytime I add an huge amount of units: Rome.
If you use several mods addings many units to this faction, if you reach a certain number, you can have the game freezing selecting the custom battle menu OR into the custom battle menu IF you select Rome for the AI
Recently the workshop mod "Alpha alaudae project" was upgraded with several new legions, both eagle cohort and the norma cohort (each one using of course a slot in the custom battle menu) and some cavalry units.
I'm using this mod with some Others adding units to Rome.
After many tests I've restricted the area of the problem to the "cavalry" section since when I do not use "late cavalry unit mod" (it adds 4 cav units= 4 slot) OR I do not use the "alaudae project" (adding 2 cav units=2 slot) the custom battle menu does not freeze.
Considering I was going crazy making all tests possible (allowing or not units from some mods to be used in cb working in the custom battle permission tables), I would ask to more skilled people/true modders
1. if they have experienced this issue
2. if there's a fix
3. if someone would write to CA or already tried it (when I did it some time ago, discussing the problem with Swiss Halberdier) I not received a reply (nor a fix since this stupid issue is still here).
Any opinion will be appreciated
