Map problems with PE 1.7 Beta?

Hey guys wonder if you would be kind enough to shine some light in my direction - I'm sure this is a schoolboy error but for some reason I cannot move my guys into Carthage on the map - it would appear to "end" abruptly half way across.

I did a fresh install following the instructions and deleted the Map.rwm files from the folders as specified. I realise this is in beta still and it may be addressed already but I cannot find any info on it.

If the abrupt stop is at the narrow point of the map south west of Cyrene, then you have met the landblock that was introduced a while back. This was done to stop the desert war between Carthage and Egypt.
You will have to use ships to get there.

Exactly. It was seen as not historical and there was also the opinion that with carthage also attacking egypt, the egyptians couldn`t handle it that well.
