    Icon11 Performance Issues

New to the forums so I apologize if this is not in the right place or had already been covered, but I am having some major issues with performance. I have a relatively decent laptop for gaming, I play a modded skyrim, diablo 3 and other games all on high graphics settings. I can play vanilla MTW2 on max settings no issues, but for whatever reason to play SS I have to turn my graphics settings to lowest to avoid crashing and/or major lag. Needless to say the game looks and runs horrible as such. Is there anything I can do to rectify this?

    Thanks.

    Nvidia GTX 660M
    6G ram
    Intel I7 2.4 GHz

the game (mtw2) defaults to the i7 onboard usually, if the 660m is a discrete card which it should be iirc, make sure you set mtw2 and kingdoms to run at max performance mode in the nvidia 3d settings.

Also the game uses the cpu more than the graphics card, and 2.4 ghz is low for it to run well since it only uses one core, try assigning the game its own core and top priority via taskmanger (you have to do this every time you start the game).

Thanks a lot, this really helped, especially changing the Nvidia settings. Officially sprite free.
