    Icon5 Three Questions

    1. What would be the best mod to use if one wished to play as the Romans (Byzantium)

    2. What file does one have to edit to change the names of factions

    3. How can one increase the unit sizes, is there a modifier like the warscape games or does it have to be done for each unit manually?

    1. .... almost all mods have Byzantium, there's one which only changes its roster if you want new units.
    2. I knew, I know no more now
    3. There's no modifier, but I know you have to enter the EDU (export_descr_units) there are some EDU editors in the forums but I don't know if they also can change unit size.

    1. Depends what you want more exactly (which period, which area, how much historical accurate etc). Broken Crescent which has a map going from Constantinople to India, more focused on historical accuracy I think. Stainless Steel that is like a overhauled vanilla, also has some a few big submods with new factions/ more historical etc
    2. expanded.txt I think
    3. (besides the regular unit scale you can set in options) you have to change for each unit in EDU, don't know about any tool/trick to help.

    3. I think there's a sub mod for stainless steel with extra large units IIRC

Thank you all. I've never been able to make SS work, I don't know why.
