    good point - although i had seen around value 5 better defense against sea factions, you're probably right... funny enough, a week or so ago i took out all the old DEFEND priorities and only left newer ones like 'ACTIVELY DEFEND THREATENED' - esp because the ai hangs around stupid places.

    i've also tweaked the CAI_TASK MANAGER a bit more so the new various 'balanced' / 'defensive' / 'aggressive' CAI choices are differentiated between different faction types (although i made all but low-aggro factions 'aggressive' for the most part) [in patch 9, i mean]

    I want to start a long campaign with DeI in very hard, with patch 8.1. The problem is that the steam version is compatible for patch 9 beta.     Clerc, go back 2 POSTS in this thread and there's a MEDIAFIRE with all the mods / sub mods and both versions...

    oh you're talking about the crash everyone has with DeI now perhaps, my stuff works fine, ask them, they'll fix their stuff eventually

    im not using movie packs anymore FYI because table fragments dont work

    I've checked my version, and made different tries. It appears that Barebones superior campaign AI and deI works fine together BUT it is incompatible with Loose formation for all units patch 9 and/or Taller barbarians mod. ... I've unchecked these two ones, and started a new campaign . Thanks Blietskrieg80 !!!

    ok I have tried the 8.1 version and it´s a bit disheartening cos there´s no midpoint. Hard difficulty is a joke and very hard has no sense whatsoever. I dont mind everybody hating me and attacking me as long as I have the means to fend them off. Factions that I have no beef with and are on the other side of the planet, declaring war makes no sense. Very little money ( when u r at war with everyone u need more money) and 5% Edict is nothing for that level. 3 recruitment slots is not enough and the replenishment rate is also insufficient. Maybe with all those things tweaked the hard difficulty could be more fun IMO.

    Sorry I have been busy / away for quite awhile... hopefully you've been following the mod on the Steam Workshop... atm tired of that broken POS software CA uses as Steam Mod Manager... so you can ONLY manually download my mod... here is a link RIGHT NOW with Patch 13+Patch14(both compatible) for all my continuing mods... I've included the Battle Mod in all TheDuBMod now, but if one really needs to, they can use BareBones+MiniMods or MaxCompatibility... I also removed the extra Conquest / change of Vassal/Client out of the Diplomacy mod... Diplomacy is strictly that only now, so you need BalancedConquest&Consequences(previously Raped,Sacked,Looted), or just TheDuBMod of course. I will explain the mod features and use better formatting (Steam sucks, looking forward to crappy forum markup lol) in the future... just wanted the Mods available for the weekend- CHEERS!
