    Has anyone read his books?
My favorite would be book 4 The Shadow Rising

Yep i'm kinda his fan, but frankly i got just a litle bit tired of waitng for the next book to come. he should stick to 6-8 volumes at max. now half the books are full of remindings what happened in the previous volumes.
i think that there is a mod for RTW based on the series.
i used to like his Conan books years ago. he was the best in this field.

There is a mod but I think it is dead.

I've never read the books but I hear that they are better than Terry Goodkind's, "Sword of Truth", series. Is this true? I highly doubt it though. There is no way I'm changing my username.

I haven't read the "Sword of Truth" series but Robert Jordan's books are very good. Lots of action from books 1-8. Slows down 9-10 but makes a good comeback with book 11.

Lord Rahl is a good name but man how can you tolerate SoT? For fantasy novels I find SoT and WoT to be absolute crap (*ducks*). Both just go on and on and on for the sake of being long novels and rarely is there an end in sight. With SoT pretty much every novel goes like this:
    1) Kahlan or Rahl go missing/kiddnapped
    2) Rahl gets tortured by someone but then wins over one of the torturers thru his spirit
    3) Someone gets raped or nearly raped
    4) Kahlan or Rahl finds the other one and have a heart warming reunion...for 5 seconds before one of them are kidnapped again
    5) Zeddicus states the obvious and stands amazed at what Richard has achieved, despite being a powerful wizard himself never seems to be of any use
    6) Goodkind sprinkles his political theories (often on the evils of communist-like society) to the point you feel like you are being lectured rather then reading a fantasy novel
    7) Horrible dialog, I mean REALLY horrible to the point where it almost seems like it was generated by a computer rather then a writer to this day I have nightmares of the dialog exchange between Rahl and Shota which goes literally something like this

"Please is there anything you can tell me."
"Ive told you all I know"
"Are you sure there is nothing else you can tell me."
    "No, Ive told you everything."
"So what you are saying is there is nothing else you can do to aid me."
    "That is correct."
"But I dont know what to do next, hey is there anything you can tell me that will help me out."
*screams* hell my paraphrasing is probably better dialog then the actual wording in the book!
    8) Someone remarks how remarkable Lord Rahl is, defeating the whole meaning of the word remarkable

I wll say I like the Mord'Sith and Cara, who is probably the most interesting character in the series. Oh and Im only being so hard on the series because I thought it had alot of promise after the first book despite its shortcomings, Rahl and Khalan looked like they could have been really interesting fantasy characters.

How is WoT crap? It isn't drawn out except for books 9 and 10 which were okay. All the others are great
