    Default RTW and Steam

    Hello!

I have the 3 disk version of RTW, but I'd like to connect it to steam so it can show me the hours that I play etc. I'd also like to do this for BI and ALX. Is it possible? If so, how can I do this? Note: I have each game under 'Games' and I can launch them etc, but how can I make it so it's connected with steam? Similar to how R2 is.

    regards,

    ~ahowl11

You can't. You can't have records of non-Steam games even if it's run via Steam.

So I'd have to purchase RTW and the ALX add on via steam to see everything?

Yeah, but it isn't that necessary, is it? All you get is a counter of how much time you've spent, and yeah, the trading cards (but still no achievements! Shame on you, Valve!)
Linky linky to my last.fm profile! Clicky clicky! If you like anything that ranges from breakbeat to downtempo/chillout, from house to drum & bass, you might find something new in between! (Artist suggestions are more than welcome )

True and it doesn't count all the hundreds is not thousand of hours previously on the last retail version.

I did bought from Steam when it was on sale last time because I could not get other legal version of ALX in my country and my dvd rom broke (and it's much cheaper for me to purchae the game rather than replace the dvd).

Well, I bought it. And ALX. $13. I needed to start my credit somehow hahaha. Yeah, I think I will actually play RTW with the steam version, and mod with the disc version.

You should wait until Christmas. I think I got all 3 games for $4.99 last Christmas.

God bless 75% holiday discounts. Sadly bought it before knowing of the goodwill of Valve. It's so much worth it, even if it's a second copy. I've been able to distribute a few of my copies among friends for them to enjoy RTW (another thing has been convincing them to actually use the CD's)

Fallout, Fallout II and Fallout Tactics are sold FREE on GOG.

I wish I liked RPG's to enjoy it. At least I did some good for the world by sharing it to a friend who might like it

GOG is such a good site. I wish I could buy more stuff from them, as a way of saying thanks for what they're doing.
