    Default Custom officers?

    Hey there, what I’d like to do is incorporate 2 mods into 1. Well, kinda... The one mod is the Myrmidon mod and the other is the Achilles Mod, but what I want is to just keep the Myrmidons the way they are but make the Achilles from the Achilles mod the Officer unit.. I’ve been able to create and alter a lot but theres very few resources out there for Officers and how they are created/generated ect.

    So no one really responded, spent a while and figured it out. Not sure it’s the CORRECT way but it worked...

    I took the Myrmidon unit mod and started with that.

    Opened in a separate PFM session the Achilles mod. And exported everything under the “Variant Meshes” string

    *

    In the Myrmidon PFM session I IMPORTED the variant meshs string from Achilles. At this stage I’m done with Achilles PFM session.

    In the variantmeshes string on my Myrmidon Mod I opened variantmeshdefinitions, under there I found one that said

    gre_myrmidon_officer

    gre_myrmidon

    gre_achilles

    I simply removed the gre_myrmidon_officer under that string and renamed the GRE_ACHILLES to be gre_myrmidon_officer

    Worked like a charm. He doesn’t have the Achilles stats from the original mod but he is now the officer for the myrmidon unit.

    Like I said I don’t know if this is the right way to do it but it worked. And hope it helps other people having problems modding custom officers.
