well, somehow i am struggling with 4 texture files, as i have no idea how to make them, make i am stupid but please, shouldn't be that hard to import something. Please give me a simple and quick tutorial on create those 4 files, texture_Diffuse, texture_gloss, texture_level and texture_normal. I looked online on google and all the things but still ended up struggling. Poor me.

    Each .max model need :

    • colormask1 / 2 / 3
    • diffuse
    • normal
    • gloss
    • level

All are .tga files, and not .dds like game files.

Moreover, during the process (CS2 then BoB), gloss and level textures are merged to create the gloss_map texture.
    • Gloss is use to create gloss_map red channel
    • Level is used to create gloss_map green channel

It is likely the same for texture_colour_mask :
texture_COLORMASK is used to create texture_colour_mask red channel

Thanks alot wangrin! Finally i could import my custom parts. However, i am still struggling with equipment, i was following exactly the instruction of Vikus :
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...Shogun-2/page9
But fortunately it didn't work out for me, my BOB crashed all the time, i dont know why but it should be fine because i successfully imported the parts, not sure about the equipment. It's said something about the vertex .....
    Thanks

unfortunately this tutorial will only work for those with 3ds 2010. I have 3ds 2009 and the 2009 version cannot open your .max scene so unless I can open that I don't have the skeleton, and don't know how to make my own skeleton.

do you know of a tutorial that will tell me how to do this in the 2009 version and or provides files compatable with 2009?

Does anyone know how to make your own new legs? When you open example legs in CA Tools, they are weirdly stretched. How can I do correctly the same with mine?
