I will be ready to release a beta (for testers) by New Years! a beta for the general players by late spring! and a really refined version by mid-summer! already! this mod has a lot! All new graphics/ui/menus,symbols, loading screens etc., all new music, a totally new map with 175 regions, navigable Nile, Euphrates and Tigris, Oasis regions, excellent topography (all around) , new factions! this mod will be a ONE a MAN! super-mod! (for all intent and purposes) all I could use help on is configuring the battle models. file and some scripting!

Excellent graphics
here are some loading screens and the splash plus some quick shots of the final crusader and Islamic menu ui/graphics, I am pretty much done with all text editing, mapping, campaighn graphics and media (music, loading screens, flags etc.) and will release a beta using the vanilla units for each faction in a week or so~ I do intend to do extensive modifying of units but to honest that aspect of a mod is almost a mod unto itself! but the campaign is done! and not like all those other release which basically are just some new units fighting in and on the vanilla campaign (boring) so if people download this and like it I intend to do a lot with units like a complete new "African" roster for the Songhai, extensive unit changes and modifications for the Omani, Hedjazi, Ghaznavids, Kindai, sedjuks as well as adjusting and some altering of the remaining factions but at the very least all factions will be re-skinned.
so beta testers let me know who you are! It will be a release but only on request!

Hey Druvatar. This looks like some of your best work yet. Looking forward to playing this one for sure. Best wishes with the development hope all goes smoothly.
Also if you need someone to play the mod until it breaks i would be happy to do some testing, i am off work until the end of January so i will be looking to fill my time with something semi-productive until i am working again lol.

new battlefield flags and textures for the Songhai (was really hard had to make the white portugese, African black! but I did it please let me know if u think they suck! LoL! (really save me from my own idiocy!)
haha thats awesome, black Portugal. It actually looks quite good. Now couldn't you just mix in a few units from other African Factions? Like the vanilla Moors and Egypt? A mash up of Porutgese, Moors, And Egypt would make for a unique faction, although not historically accurate, but very fun to play. + historical accuracy in TW is overrated lol give me more varied armies over a history lesson any day.
LoL!ya could probably add units from other factions ( the thing Is, with Total war games is being historically accurate in the broad sense is important for game authenticity but after that for playing dynamics and modding purposes (room for creativity is a must, He He, Ha Ha)

here is the Kingdom of Jerusalem, battlefield flags and unit (actually a few little things to do with `em) will release the beta soon! but like I said! BY REQUEST ONLY! this is not a "fully" public release although though the only criteria is you be willing to dedicate a WHOLE I Mean humongous! five minutes! to posted some screenshots an giving some feedback! as I was so free to sacrifice my wee-hour in the morning time to this ( when there is a lot of quality infomercials on!! LoL)
someone buy me a cup of coffee! ( first time I`ve re-skinned 3 factions in a row with out a ctd!) here some more of Jerusalem! (now complete) also when I get to editing the EdB. gonna remove all basic units from the crusading
factions (like town and spear militia, armored sergeants, peasant archers etc. only late era units like feudal knights and above) (accurate because all the crusading factions had was the ability train special knights, now that I think of it ,
I may remove all recruitment (only for the crusaders though) and script in reinforcements every couple of turns (which can be blocked if you do not control your seas and coast) please give some feedback on this idea also if it possible scripting it :the turn before you get them being asked how much money you have to purchase and what unit[s]
