anyways, oh wow i reinstalled the extended realism mod to include all fixes, and started a roman campaign. i've had some difficulties but have all of italy, sicily, and took the fight to the carthaginians, which are now hamstrung since i took their main coastal cities in north africa except the last one across from Gades. basically i am in a mop up situation in africa whilst i began pushing into Gaul, where i noticed my iberian allies are doing the same. i made a few changes to nerf macedon a bit, and which apparently has worked since they are down to 2 provinces, the greek cities having won out (i didnt nerf madecon too much because in my baktria game they are killing the greek cities with the help of the illyrians.) oh wow but i can already see a long and hard war to the east against the seleucids. for some bizarre reason they were able to take out both the ptolemies AND the galatians rather quickly, and so remain unopposed and have spilled over into europe, taking Tylis, Maronia, a coastal city-state, as well as Pella I believe. Oh and Germany is on their border. It is unfortunate because the Seleucids have no powerful enemies at this point. Hopefully the greeks and bactrians will finally start a war with them.
