Fort rule violation, u can have unlimited forts but all forts must require 4 units! and sorry for my bad typing im on my phone

I am sorry for being hotheaded, reason I got a little angry like I said on my first post was because Mithridate went to you behind me. I feel a little stabbed honestly.

I won't break the rules again, I never do. This was done on turn 1 and had no impact, but I'll keep that in mind for my future hotseats and build 4 unit forts even on turn 1 from now on. I apologize.

You made it clear you were deliberately violating the rules and OK with doing so, I stated this was unacceptable and you started with namecalling. I then informed you that id notify the admin ( I had posted in the thread about the violation, even before i got my save ) to then go in depth as to why again. I'm sorry that we could not see eye to eye and that you feel stabbed, but:

Mith, rules exist for a reason, and it's that reason specifically that they exist for - when one is broken we should refer back to that reason to decide how best resolve it. They are there to enforce what is right, but it's impossible to create rules that are universally right.
This is the case here, the rule of having 4 units in a fort was to prevent fort spam in a game mod in which forts were too important to be limited to a certain number or region and so on. In his rather obnoxious style I have to admit, he decided that it was ok with breaking it because it was illegal to attack him that turn, so it made literally no difference as at all.

A rule was indeed broken, but given the circumstances, it's simply irrelevant and did nothing to put anyone at a disadvantage. Nevertheless, he shouldn't have defied the rules, so the warning was more than deserved. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. This was clear and accepted when it happened. That rule breaking is not the reason we had this little episode.

You had an argument with him on Steam, and he was rude and disrespectful. Not to say I agree with this, but it has no bearing on the game and it's rules and official decisions. You can very well use this as a reason to bar him from your personal games, or even the community if it gets very very bad, but you do not have any right to go and punish my team with a fine because he was disrespectful and rude on Steam with you.

The fact that you can just go to the Gaming Staff and somehow be able to overturn decisions in your favor and/OR to avenge you is simply mind boggling. That kind of favoritism should have no place within the Gaming Staff, even more so when in an official tournament. What you do to avenge or punish has a repercussion in official tournaments ? That's just not right.

As I said in the post that Ice edited without my permission, I have a serious problem with 1. Mith having the power to influence Gaming Staff in this way; 2. With Gaming Staff being so irresponsible. I am very disappointed of Mith and Ice's actions, as well as by my team mate's general attitude, not specifically the rule break which really didn't make a difference at all but of his behavior.

And also, as a last point, Ice used as further reason for his fine Jem's disrespect towards his position of authority, which I would agree with if not only for the fact that he wrote that he intends to fine Jem before he actually went ahead and got mad here. When in fact he got mad and wrote what he wrote on the forum because Mith persuaded the Admin to fine him because of that conversation. Jem shouldn't have been disrespectful nevertheless, it was wrong of him, that and Ice lied or was misleading - if he actually refered to Mith's being insulted and not him initially then he was misleading, if not he lied. Regardless, that was wrong also.

Gaming Staff really need to focus more on earning some credibility and authority around here. These kinds of things are not helpful.

Edit: Jem provided copy paste of his conversation to show me that he wasn't actually all that offensive. Mith was easily on par with him - but the discussion really was ok. Yeah, sorry Jem for being harsh with you if you actually weren't what I though.

These are some serious accusations. Any sign of favoritism from any GS member to a particular member in making decisions and rulings is strictly forbidden, it is our job to be as impartial as possible, both as admin and moderator of this forum.

Now, on first glance I do think we are a little bit overreacting here. It seemed the discussion was already over before Mith posted his post, which was unnecessary.

Now end it, and as Mith says, keep it to PM's.

If anyone has an official complaint about admin rulings and decisions you can contact me and I will investigate. We as Gamingstaff (including non TW games clans and RP area staff) are in the process of creating a court for cases where admin's decisions are called into question, but until that time, you will have to sent your message to me.

I've added a new rule after the vote, to go in effect next turn. It is forbidden to ransom defeated enemy soldiers, as the player cannot refuse.

I've also made another vote in the main topic, on request of a player.

The way you say that I resorted to namecalling will make people think I called you a 100 different things. All I said was "don't be cheap" after you said you'd tell the admin to fine me. I thought that would be a low move coming from you, you basically threatened a friend. Whatever you say though, I gave my perspective on why we have rules in hotseats and me breaking one had zero impact and I broke it knowing that it would have zero impact. Otherwise I wouldn't have done it, clearly.

This never really stopped lol. Rock on it, so we can get rocking as well. Starting with tomorrow I'll be very busy in December so I want to get it done by tonight, lest i loose more than half of my time because of being at work.

Edit: Ah cmon, seriously! Nobody ever stopped you from playing, this was not an issue to pause the game and you had no right to delay so much.
I understand getting it over a bit, or even asking for the extension, but now you are tons of time over the time allowed! When the hell are you gonna post ????

I did not play this yesterday due to all this taking place, some quite serious accusations were made that i dealt with instead while i had other turns.
This morning i had to go to the hospital again and contacted both Ice and Dux ( my subber ) that i was away and would need an extension.

As I feared, the delay forced my time to overlap with a large chunk of my work schedule and now that I'm back home I'm really tired and will have to delay my turn until about 10 am forum time if I'm not mistaken.So I need an extension.

Sorry for the delay, but It was pretty much hard to avoid this this time around.
