Joff up.
I subbed guy.
War declared on house Stark and a ship with 5 units was sunk.
I will need a extension, something came up and I will busy until tomorrow night.
The speed of this tournament is already ridiculous. If you can't play your turn for such a long time ask your partner to do it since you aren't playing alone and you are a team.
I will notified your partner to do it or I will have to skip you in the next 10 hours.

I was sent the wrong save, I pmed for the correct save, and thats what I am waiting on. My partner is on vacation and I am subbing him
Its not Tyler's fault, I uploaded the wrong save and have been battling a flu the past two days, I may be able to sneak in a quick fix tomorrow, but as all my family is coming over I doubt it.
Well it would be nice if someone told me that as I thought that Tyler is simply late and I meant to skip him. Since it is Christmas I am willing to wait a little longer but the speed of this Hotseat still troubles me.

http://www.filedropper.com/tag2stark7 broke the siege of Stonedance and Banefort, and won some small battles. I can provide pics if needed
I'm also afraid that you have abused the naval movement bug. So I need to see the screenies first.
The troops in the ships off the coast of Seagard shouldn't have been able to participate without abusing ship trick.
Use the original ship without transferring troops to other fleets, they should be short on one tile.

By that, I suppose you mean that while transferring troops on sea, the ships used all it's movement speed while the troops still have moment speed, so he used another ship to transfer the troops off the ship without movement points on to the other and then onto land. no ? If so, out of all the insane rules these westeros hs have, that has to top them all.![]()
Yes.
Basicly you can move armies much further if you have a lot of ships spreaded by abusing the bug. Not counterable by the enemy.
I'm not the admin in this HS, but to my knowledge it's a known bug. I added it to my HS rules compendum before this event.
I demand a replay as it's a bug abuse. There is zero reason to try to calculate and strategize if you can just use movement bugs.

Someone really needs to find or come up with a good definition for the word "bug" specifically for the medieval hotseat community, so that ppl don't get confused.
You do realize that armies, while on a ship, they loose movement points as the ship moves ?
So thus if multiple ships spread to provide sort of a "bridge", it wouldn't work because the army would loose all their movement points.
Now I'm perfectly clear that this mod isand that they didn't want ships with many movement points because "insert whatever their reason was here", and that it is technically a bug, but there is a time where you have to just draw a line in the sand and say,
it. this just has too many rules.
My personal conviction is that rules should be there to level the ground for all players, so that no one player can use smt another cannot. Also, rules are there to keep the game fun and not have players using "workarounds" way too often, but there's only so much you can do to fight "monsters" until you yourself become the "monster" that's ruining the fun. It's healthy for a game to haveso many "weapons" like this in your arsenal to use, it gives it depth and replayability.
Sorry for the textwall
Cheers !

Pictures are needed, as Aldor has stated below.

Sure thing! Here are all the pics I have, if a replay is needed then thats okay too. http://www.filedropper.com/allpics
I think you've done what Aldor was talking about when he spoke of the 'naval movement bug' so a replay could be in order. We'll see when he checks them himself, or an Admin checks.
If I did I am sorry. I dont mind a reply
Is there a rule about that??
It we want to be strict and forbid exploting game mechanism to player's own advantage we shouldn't allow such action and treat it as a bug what really is. I will not say that I didn't use such bug in the past but there are still many things that are not quite clear in Westeros Hotseats so we will certainly find some more cases in the future that will have to be resolved.

I shall play it ASAP, I am sorry for the trouble
