Anyone know how to reduce champion training?

Does anyone know how to reduce the xp farming for champions? I consider it to be extremely OP and I want it reduced. I've been digging around in the db files but I haven't found much. I did find something under action_results_additional_outcomes, but changing that value didn't seem to do anything.

I finally figured it out but I still wasn't happy with it so I just made the champion increase melee defense. I just didn't think it made a ton of sense that a unit sitting in a town could rank up faster than a legion conquering all over the map.

sure it does to an extent, think about a pleb doing 6 months of heavy training vs marching all over the place and having the occasional battle or skirmish here or there where he may or may not fight and may only end up fighting on or 2 enemies unless its against a major enemy.

The 6 months of training would surely make him a better fighter.

I see your point, but he would still be "green" when it comes to actual combat. I may change it back just because I couldn't change the localization files for it so it still says increases xp in the tooltip and little things like that bug me.

I finally figured this out too, but I had to change the agent_to_agent_abilities.loc file which doesn't have all of the green lettering written in, which means that's all gone. Oh well.

edit: nevermind, figured this out too. You have to use local_en_rome2, that one has all the colors in the text.
