Default (Request) Multiple Armies treated as Allied rather than under player control.

(Hope this is the right spot!)

This was a feature available via the Retrofit Mod for Medieval 2, and a particular feature I grew rather fond of. Basically, if you brought two separate armies to the same battle, the second army could be commanded by the AI rather than the player. It basically meant that in particularly large scale battles, the AI could take care of the second army for you while you focused on your own. It also is a pretty decent way of bypassing the 40 unit limit without creating more overhead for the player in terms of units to manage. It also works quite nicely from a role play perspective, that general who is getting a bit too powerful from another house in your faction, engages a superior enemy army... While you hold back and watch him get slaughtered. It can provide a less... gamy way of disposing of far too powerful enemy house's generals without simply going in to the battle yourself and charging him solo to his death. It also made large scale battles feel very epic with 8 separate armies fighting all over the map. (Something I would personally find impossible to manage...)
I lack ANY coding experience, or I'd try to do it myself...
I don't know if this is even possible, though I pray it is
(Mods Tried a couple searches for this but didn't see anything similar talked about or made already, so if there is, kindly pm me and delete this!

Hoping a modder takes a liking to this one too.

If you put some units into a group you can give the AI control of that group. Jus' sayin' Personally I like to play online multiplayer campaign and give control of one or more flanks to my allies. At least they don't derp.

Just uncheck the 'control large army box before battle. Or you can edit the amount of troops allowed on the battlefield with packfile manager?
