Siege artillery damage values
Hello all,
One more question:
I searched the forum here and could not find (maybe I didn't search enough though)...
Can anyone point me to the area where siege artillery damage is defined? Specifically I want to create more of a difference between ballista/onager and giant ballista/onager (wall damage).
Thanks

Re: Siege artillery damage values
It's defined by the projectiles they use (projectiles table. Ballista use stones and explosives, Onagers use rocks and poison. Large versions use the "large" projectiles). Only normal damage is applied to structures (ie. 200 ap and 50 normal would do 50 damage to a wall). Roman/Eastern/Hellenic wall sections all have ~2000 HP, Barbarian wall sections have 1800.
I would also suggest that you check out my artillery overhaul, if for no other reason than I've already seperated/sorted many of the relevant DB entries.
