The Trial of Bloody Bolton
Lord Stark had given Bolton's old domain to his loyal comrade and ally Prince Aerys, with a purge of the old order and exiling the women and children- Nordreki felt as clean and fresh a spring day, rare blue skies and a cool wind made the day feel almost like a fayre. With the troops gathered from all over the North, with Targaryen troops from the Crownlands, and even the Tullys, one could believe that the high spirits and sunny disposition off the chatty, friendly allies were here to witness a wedding.
It was only Stark whose head was murky with duty and heavy thoughts.
"Do you deny that you accepted the promotion I gave you, to be our Lord Warden of the Wolfswood?" He asked the accused in a calm but darkly voice.

Re: The Trial of Bloody Bolton
Aerys was partly giving his attention to the hearing. He had a new book, written by Maekar the Cruel himself, on justice and law in the Kingdoms which sprained his focus from Bolton. The outcome was already clear. They would all denounce his actions in their own little rant and then lord Stark would pull out Ice and cut of his head. But the Prince knew that he had to display his support and represent house Targaryen in the hearing. This was after all, the trial that would end one of the oldest houses in the world.

Re: The Trial of Bloody Bolton
Lord Tully was also present, watching the scene silent and with a neutral look.
Bolton surely had brought chaos upon the North during a time, where the kingdom was at the border of war against Blackfyre, being without the support of the North in battle, but Edric found it hard to hate a man, whom he had never seen before.
He definitly believed in Stark's judgement and the crimes, which the Dread lord surely had done in his past, but he was among the ranks of present nobles more a watcher than someone, who actually fancied the death of this man.

Lord Manderly sat amongst the judges, although he had taken no part in Lord Artos' campaign. The speed in which Prince Aerys had built his new castle was very impressive indeed and a worthy seat for a dragon.
