Hey guys,
Loving the work you are doing on this mod. I do have a question/request though. Is it possible to activate a guard-mode for units when they are using fulcrum or even have it be it's own separate ability? I just fought a battle where I wanted my units to remain in their position instead of giving chase and caused quite a mess. Thanks for your time.
I think there is a bug with the Thrakes Rhomphaiaphoroi (something like that)
This unit have wedge formation. And i think they use there swords the wrong way.

Wedge formation were common for Germanic and Barbarian Tribes in those times in order to break the ennemy line. Should be the same for those Thracian heavy melee infantry.
Well historically it was very popular with Germanic infantry, but not any of the other "barbaric" peoples such as the Gauls, Iberians, Thracians, Dacians, etcIt was very popular with the Scythians, but as a cavalry formation, not infantry (in contrast to the Germanics which used it strictly for their infantry, and their cavalry being more of a skirmish unit).

In fact Thracian as well as Celt were know to use the "Flying Wedge" attack formation in those case.

Turd burgers!
Why did they do this? And is there any chance they'll get rid of it? My mod in dev had something like 20-30 helmet variations for a single unit, then I re-launched the mod with patch 7, and I only saw 5 of themKind of depressing.
Seems as there's only 15 army names per language, that's easier than redoing all character names! So I will definitely think about itSplenyi - Thank you for the realistic unit names. It's kind of difficult to read them but hopefully I will get used to it. Will we see some realistic army names? The english ones are kind of dull. Doesn't sound too awesome.![]()

"The wedge (έμβολον, embolon in Greek; cuneus in Latin, colloquially also caput porcinum, "boar's head"), was used by both infantry and cavalry. The men deployed in a triangular or trapezoid formation with the tip leading the way. According toArrian and Asclepiodotus, the wedge was first used by the Scythians, and then the Thracians. "

Oh, it's wikipedia"The wedge (έμβολον, embolon in Greek; cuneus in Latin, colloquially also caput porcinum, "boar's head"), was used by both infantry and cavalry. The men deployed in a triangular or trapezoid formation with the tip leading the way. According toArrian and Asclepiodotus, the wedge was first used by the Scythians, and then the Thracians. "I know that the Scythian cavalry fought in wedge, and I suppose the Thracian cavalry may have adopted it for their own cavalry too, but I haven't heard mention of Thracian infantry doing this?
Seems as the variation limit is linked to what level you set the unit details to, I fear it's not a bugIt has to be a bug, I don't see why they'd possibly make such a weird limitation intentionally.but let's pray
