@loukylouk The only updates that will require you to restart would be startpos updates I think. So, for the most part no.

*penalties to routing units should be higher so that routing units die much faster than fighting units

1. Pike Phalanx mass is increased (and by a lot actually), only that it is done so on the formation because for the unit it would not be logical.
2. Yes maybe you are right.
3. I will look if it is possible to do it. Never tried to do something like this.

Yes. You made my day sirThe mod is fantastic. I really love it, but as far as the campain goes it is still too easy. At turn 50 i am pretty much unbeatable at VH. And perhaps look into cash bonuses for african factions because Carthage always gets oblitirated by african minors.
It's a mesh error. Something probably been misspelt or a slash or dot has been missed.
For the problem of the meshes, we will resolve the issue asap.
I said that there would have been probably some issue since this texture pack is new and it has not been properly beta tested for lack of time.
I understand, you guys are doing great. I only wanted to point out that what william456 was seeing was not an isolated issue with him. I saw early that they were saying they could not replicate his problem. I have to say though the work you guys do is amazing. You have heard it several times that your mod is saving the game and its absolutely true. Keep it up.
Selea in the 0.3 version it mentions you made a slight tweak to the slingers power. I find they've been balancing out to where if I don't have cavalry I have a choice of sending infantry which takes longer to reach them but they sustain less casualties or go at them with javelins which do take on more casualties although maybe a few less than before but they're able to reach them quicker. I like these choices given and the +/- side of each. Until cavalry is available for me this makes the slingers a good unit for the enemy to have on hand and yet not too op.

Just registered to share my feedback. Looks like dreams came true. It compiles my chosen R2 mods and with patch 7 changes campaign finaly gives satisfaction.
1. Will TTT or something similar be integrated in future relases or should i do it myself? Only startpos and points per lvl colides like with AGA?
2. AI uses pikes in blocky formations. Adding lower speed they comes to battle really late and are easy to flank not using its full potential. Back in NTW there was option to change default rank and file of every unit. Something changed or it's simly overlooked and formation width remained from 160 men per unit?
3. Eastern satrapies can recruit thorax troops from lvl 2 barracks. All playable factions requires third lvl to do so. Even if that was intended to give edge to the ai, player can do the same if he captures one and do not convert it.
4. Patch/mod changed agressivnes too much. I can live with stack spam, but AIalso likes to spam barracks (VH/VH so it gets food and cash basicly for free). I've seen even three in one city even if given faction have only two barracks chains... Other factions seems just fine. Building priorities are changed by being at war?
5. Miningful resources restrictions seems too harsh. I wanted to build lvl 2 satrapy palace. After few turns of hovering over greyed icon i finaly realised that it requires gold. Indicator icon was missing and tooltip only appeard when hovering over one corner. I looked into diplomacy and none of known faction even knew what gold means. According to MR map theres three or four gold nodes, all without acces to sea and still it's required for third stage building. That could work if game would feature resources transit, but in current state it brings too many limitations.
1. Yes. It will be included in the mod.
2. Pike formation is 16 ranks deep as it was in reality. With patch 7 actually the AI switches to Phalanx only when near an enemy unit. As for the flanking etc. this is another limitation of the AI of the game that nevers adapt the ranks depending on the situation. It should be basic since it's obvious that the default rank/depth cannot be good for every situation, no matter what it is.
3. We will see if it's better or not to change the level of recruitment of them
4. I think they are changed yes. Dresden can be more specific on this

DEI is great but I am having a compatibility issue with another mod. I don't know if you are familiar with Smarmy's work, but his Pontic Roster expansion will not run with DEI. All of his other mods do, but for whatever reason this one does not. If both are checked, the game will freeze while trying to load. I've been talking with at length for almost two weeks now, and he's been steadily updating his mod to try and sort out the kinks. Currently, the only shared resources between the two mods are Ahiga's variant meshes, which shouldn't cause any hang-ups according to him. I've also noticed that the same thing happens when Legionairres Armies mod is checked while DEI is active. I know you guys are busy but I would really appreciate it if you could look into this. Maybe you could get in touch with Smarmy, he's active on Steam. My Steam name is Marcus Aurelius if you need a reference.
