Another "Great Job" to the team!:
This preview should have stayed at the first position on the first page and not being so fast replaced by another damn patch of the RomeII's failure.
TWC does take some wrong decisions.
Thanks guys of IB who you deliver such an awesome preview despite being so few in numbers. Can't wait for Restitutor Orbis. If i may ask for something that would be to have less big armies at the first turn, so we can build our own slowly![]()
Agreed Stath's.
Being able to build up and then crush the ai gives much satisfaction and even in a more "accurate" (I'm against this term, wish there was a more proper word for what I'm thinking other than authentic) game which tries to resemble history it is a viable game play "mechanic"
“The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress and grow.”
~Thomas Paine.
Thus I like having the ability to start off with less developed things and then slowly build up and then fight. I remember watching this head to head campaign on Shogun 2 with the two human players building up for war against one another and then when they do...Very epic. The build up gives suspense, though it mustn't take forever.
Cheers.
Wow how did I miss this? Fantastic work I love them!
congrats guys!
thanx a lot!
Congratulation guys, I was waiting long time for this preview and yet it looks really amazingI would also appreciate the start up with smaller armies and less developed region as was proposed above.
