Default Does anyone know how I can edit the army cap?

I liked being able to have far more armies in rome 1, it made the game fun. It's no fun being stuck with so few armies and then I can't just move troops around by themselves?
I've seen a mod pack that raises it to 40 but I don't want all the other stuff with it. If anyone knows how to change it so I can have more army's please let me know.

Well this is not the fórum for this, it is for the workshop fórum, anyway, using Packfilemanager, créate your own mod pack and add the campaign_variables table, there you can find the caps, all of them, give the value you want , save and test using modmanager provided by CA.

Ok, that sound complicated I'll try and figure it out. I assume I can download the pfm and campaign tables on here somewhere

I downloaded pfm and kinda see what you mean about the tables by looking at another mod but how do i get the campaign_variables table to show up in pfm?

ok, I found the table and variable using pfm but it won't let me change the values. Is there something I have to click to be able to edit in the data rome2 pack?

U should use some existing mod who use this db if u are new in modding its hard to you.
In data_rome2 , db ,campaign_variables_tables change the second number.

    army_cap_fame_0 3
    army_cap_fame_1 6
    army_cap_fame_2 9
    army_cap_fame_3 12
    army_cap_fame_4 15

Change the 3.6.9.12.15 to the numbers u want.

I can not find it after beta 7 patch neither. Before I always changed it there, but now it is not there anymore.

I may be going crazy, but I can't find the army_cap entries in campaign_variables anymore after patch 7 beta.

It's been shifted into fame_tables (new table), along with edicts, fame required etc.

Does anyone know where the fame_tables is located after patch 8.1? I can't find it anywhere.

Edit: Never mind. I found it by updating my schema.

    Thanks.

You should consider making a small mod rather than directly editing the db files.

It is easy to do, here is a tutorial: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...6#post13266156
