Well, I took a closer look at the factions to study up on this little mod, and yeah, it lacks balance lol.
Is it just me or there isn't much choice in who to fight ? I mean, it's clear that Tully and Stark will always go for Lannister, maybe even Joffrey. No ? Most probably yes.

Similarly, Tyrell will want to march against Lannister while Lannister is basically pinned down by Tully and Stark. Any other tactic would be nonsense, especially in such a limited timespan (16 turns).

I suppose Renly will be occupied taking out Joffrey who is clearly the underdog with a pathetic economy and recruitment power. Not to mention that even slight incursions by Stark or, most likely, Tully can set the balance of power even more against Joffrey.
Considering we'll only play 16 turns, Joffrey starting with no place at all to recruit knights, and the ability to do get the first knight unit out only on like turn 9, half way through the damned tournament lol.

My bets will be that in all hotseats the Lanny/Joff team will be the ones taking names and getting ganked.
(p.s. don't worry about me quitting our anything, I'll still gladly step up to the plate and do my thing, I'm just pointing out stuff you game staff should take a lot more seriously in a tournament )

It's been a while good sers but I'm back, at least for just this HS (for now ) I apologise for my abrupt departure but twc was going through a rough time and I had other priorities that have now been predominantly resolved. I have missed HSing and I look forward to getting stuck back in!

Watch Tourney 1, me and uri are lanny and joff. What u stated wont happen! Joffrey has been given tyrion and half a satck and most settlements can recruit heavy swordsman and knights! Everyone knows how easily Tyrion can be put up to 5 star! Ask Uri for that one i think he got Tyrion in Dance of Kings on full commands!

Well nobody said anything about switching Tyrion to Joff and giving them half a stack.
Also, I will need some clarification on how the hell can Joff recruit heavy swordsmen or knights, cos like I said, in my installed version of youngbloods, I don't have such a thing...

Yet another thing that escaped me (the Tyrion going to Joff and getting half a stack was the other), I don't believe it's written anywhere.

Do not underestimate Lannister, it's all a decision of the players and there are a lot of ways this can go out. Usually at the beginning of the game Tyrell gets invaded by Martell or vise versa, Martell might invade even Renly and cause their invasion of the Lannisters to halt. Stark doesn't always help out Tully, and sometimes betrays him and sometimes goes for the Vale. With Lannister it is soooo easy to wipe out early on if Stark doesn't help them. Also Greyjoy can help them against Stark or Tyrell

Just look at my HS ADOK where I as Lannister dominate the game, I hold the West the Riverlands and big parts of the Reach and soon all of it. It's just a matter of the player, that is all

Of course in this game several factions are out but if Lannister wipes out Tully early he has a very decent shot of winning. If he remains in a deffensive position I will tell you right now he's screwed

I'm sorry but nothing you wrote actually fits into this tournament. First off there won't be any other AI factions, nor will players be able to attack anything else except each other apparently. Also your scenario omits the fact that there are now teams... So yeah, completely and utterly besides the matter at hand.

Joff is surrounded and is in the worst position to get attacked!! So Head of the Westeros Hotseating Section (Dux) and I changed the desc_ start so that Joff can get a tiny advantage to help them out by giving Joff Tyrion who really is stuck between the starks and Tullys. You dont need to change anything just put ur save in the youngbloods file and play!

Oh and Tyrion is at kingsladning after he was released out of the eyrie, he meant Tywin and his army and was forced to be hand of the king in his fathers stead! Seems Lore wise to me! Ur in Tournament 3 ahhh.... it's a shame that we could not verse each other i wanted to see who will win! Maybe if u stay after the tournament we could battle it out?

First off, I am not complaining, how and why in hell would I be complaining about giving Tyrion and half a stack to Joff when it was I who first brought up the notion that Joff is too weak? So no, I like that you decided to do that.

Secondly, I liked that you moved Tyrion from that awful position. I know he was imprisoned at the Eyrie, and I know the story, I finished the books a couple of months ago.

Last but not least, you've yet to address how and where can Joff recruit knights or swordsmen ? because they can't, and they should be able to at least at a single castle, preferably the one near King's Landing, at Rosby.

You need to upgrade either your Stables or your Barracks one more level. This is the same for all normal Castles. In a Fortress or Citadel like Harrenhal or Riverrun you will be able to recruit all top-units from default!

Dux was able to make heavy swordsman recruitable in rosby! not sure about heav calvary though

Its just descr_strat editing Jiub, no need for a patch as it is save game compatible. Descr_strat is just for army positions starting generals buildings and like that . No need for a patch
Anyway, I have just played my turn as Lannister and I can assure you that lions can kick ass, if played right

I could say the same if the guys south of me were the ones south of you.

Just check who we are up against and stop trying to convince people this is fair, it isn't but we'll play through anyway and have fun doing so. Just stop saying it's fair.
