I assume turns here means hours. Sadly I don't think I could even recieve a PM in 18 hours, as I only have one or two free hours a day to play due to work...I am even writing this on my lunch break!

Also can someone clarify the exact demands of this... it is just ONE faction in ONE hotseat, correct?

I think it's more like the faction admits it will lose.

I think it is indeed supposed to be 16 hours, if the unlucky thing happens that you are up when you can't play your turn, you can ask your ally to sub you. But I'm sure that if you ask an extension in that case it will be granted, also maybe we can do it like "Under the Dome" hotseat using SS, where everybody gets a time slot he's comfortable in

It is indeed one faction in one hotseat, there are two hotseats perallel to that one, the winner in each one will get to the final level and try his luck for the medal

as for the 15 turns, I do agree its kinda short, but if we want this hotseat to ever get to the final stage we have to put a time limit on it, so that we can end this hotseat this year, just look at Immortals, opened like 2-3 months ago and still on turn 12

Since badger might have problems taking turns I have aproached a steady amount of other players, for example diablo del sur was up for it but will run into some problems in about a month when he will travel.

There is a first time for everything, we did work togeather for a couple of turns in GoT but that ended poorly. Also there is the classic YB2 game were I broke a deal but had to pay for it...
