    Default Battle Crash after Unpacking?

I ran the Unpacker, took about 10 minutes, yet there were barely any files in the data folder afterwards, just descr_strat and a few map files.

Obviously the crash would be explained by the fact that the two geography files were missing, assuming they should be in the data folder, so I haven't deleted them. But if so, where did all the unpacked files go?

I am using Windows 7 btw.

    1. Log in as Administrator.
    2. Unhide all files, folders, and drives in Folder Options.
    3. Search the tree menu in user\username\appdata\roaming.

No luck. Its a retail copy, not Steam, if that's relevant.

I gave Med 2 full trust in security settings, but its still making the virtual stores in appdata, is that supposed to happen? Anyway I found the geography files and deleted them so that's the problem fixed. Thanks.

Leave the UAC disabled for this game anything else on your computer XP and older, take full ownership/control of C: drive - not just Medieval2, and install in someplace like C:\games, and this will get you away from 90% of what you're fighting.

For unpacking, http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...cking-the-Game is better than my old way.
