Battle Crash after Unpacking?
I ran the Unpacker, took about 10 minutes, yet there were barely any files in the data folder afterwards, just descr_strat and a few map files.
Obviously the crash would be explained by the fact that the two geography files were missing, assuming they should be in the data folder, so I haven't deleted them. But if so, where did all the unpacked files go?
I am using Windows 7 btw.

1. Log in as Administrator.
2. Unhide all files, folders, and drives in Folder Options.
3. Search the tree menu in user\username\appdata\roaming.

No luck. Its a retail copy, not Steam, if that's relevant.

Re: Battle Crash after Unpacking?
Leave the UAC disabled for this game anything else on your computer XP and older, take full ownership/control of C: drive - not just Medieval2, and install in someplace like C:\games, and this will get you away from 90% of what you're fighting.
For unpacking, http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...cking-the-Game is better than my old way.
