A raven is sent with a reply for Lady Dayne stating that the offer of trade is accepted.

After a stop in Blackmont, the group of riders, headed by Valena Gargalen arrive at Starfall.

[Xion]

The group are stopped at the gate by several knights before being allowed into the castle and led up to the Great Hall where Regent Ulrick sits on the small throne used by the High Lord of the Red Mountains, and Lucifer Allyrion being present, leaning against a pillar to the side, glaring in the direction of the new arrivals while smirking. Dawn is visible to the right of the throne, in a case. "Welcome to Starfall, Lady Gargalen. I hope your journey here was pleasant." Ulrick states as he gets up to bow to the Lady.

[Alexandrine]

She made some head nods towards the people present at court. "Thank you, ser Ulrick. Unfortunately my travelling through the Red Mountains was far from easy. These mountain passes prove to be very treacherous. Luckily for me and my party we have been sheltered by house Blackmont, on our way here."

[Xion]

Ulrick stares at her, slightly confused as to whether she rode past Starfall, up to Blackmont, and then back or if she braved the near impossible to cross paths between Prince's Pass and Blackmont."I see, my lady..and yes, the mountains can be treacherous no matter how experienced a rider is through them and at any time of the year. I am glad to hear you made it safely to Blackmont. If you don't mind me asking, what brings you to Starfall?" "Yes, please do tell." Lucifer adds in a slightly sarcastic, mocking tone.

[Alexandrine]

Valena's eyes flashed towards Lucifer. But tried her best to remain calm. She turned her gaze back towards Ulrick. "I have come to visit the young lady Dayne. I was.. quite shocked by your wife's sudden passing."

[Xion]

The Allyrion's smirk grows wider when he notices her glare at him for a moment. Ulrick sighs. "A tragedy indeed, my lady...and I shall send a servant to check if my lady is available." Ulrick motions one of the maids to go see if the child is asleep or not. Lucifer walks away from the pillar and moves closer to Valena. "So, my lady..how is the capital? You are our Prince's emissary to the crown, correct?" he states in the same mocking tone as before.

[Alexandrine]

She lifted her head a little higher in the air. "Yes, I am." she said with some pride.

[Xion]

"So, then my lady, how is the capital? Have you reasserted Dornish influence or done nothing?" Allyrion continues in the mocking tone, while Ulrick sighs out of irritation. "Lucifer, Lady Valena and yourself can discuss that later." "Fine." he hisses slightly and retreats to the pillar again, while a maid enters carrying a young girl who is given to Ulrick. The young Lady Dayne stares at the court, attempting to reach out to some things or speak in babble while she is held. "My lady, may I present Lady Emphyria."

[Alexandrine]

Valena opened her mouth to respond on Lucifer, but later closed it slowly after Ulrick wished them to stay quiet. With her eyes, she followed the maid and the babe closely. She swallowed when Ulrick presented to her, the lady Emphyria. She almost stared at the child at first. Realising that this girl, this infant was now a lady and would grow up as a lady in her own right. Becoming a Lady at a young age herself, she could relate to that. But she thanked the gods that she had a normal childhood, playing with the courtiers children at Salt Shore and her younger brother. She stepped a little closer. "She is the most beautiful."

[Xion]

Ulrick nods. "Fortunately she takes after her mother in appearance over her father.." as if on cue, the girl's lavender-colored eyes turn to Valena, a small hand reaching out towards her in curiosity of the new arrival. "I apologize for his conduct, I should've remembered the negative emotions between Salt Shore and Godsgrace." "Oh sure, play the chivalrous knight card, why don't you?" Lucifer walks out of the hall, likely to plot something. "What Lady Lucia saw in such a man only the Seven will ever know."

[Alexandrine]

"Thank you ser Ulrick." Valena said when Lucifer has left the room. "Perhaps she rushed into marriage, and didn't know him too well." Valena offered. "I was married once, it didn't agree with me much either.."

[Xion]

"Or perhaps she didn't care what he was like, just that he would give her an heir to Starfall, and that's it." Ulrick shrugs. "You have probably heard that Yronwood has surrendered to the Prince's host after a year and a half of the two sides staring at each other?"

[Alexandrine]

"I did indeed. A most tragic event in my opinion.." she had some affliction with the Yronwoods, being her first cousins. "Luckily for Dorne not much blood was shed."

[Xion]

"That is fortunate indeed. Otherwise we may have seen some of our Princedom's old enemies resurrect their old feuds and take advantage of the fact Dorne is weakened from the rebellion."
