Short question about the Blood-DLC

I thought about buying it while i am still in UK, but i am not sure if i would like it. I didn't have the bloodpack for Shogun 2 because they didn't sold it in Germany back than. Is there a way to turn the blood-mode of, after buying the DLC once?

Yeah you can turn it off in the graphics options. Just look up some videos and you might get a better idea if it's for you or not?

I looked at some clips, but it seems to be funny for a while, but as i know myself i could get annoyed by it after some time^^

You can use mech_donalds blood mod for a more realistic style, and i really like it

Really? All my TW friends agree on that. It is really fitting for Shogun 2, whereas in R2 it looks as if the units were painting a ceiling and got covered in paint.

Shogun 2 blood was over the top, I get they were going for the stylized almost anime like blood gushing out everywhere, but I wasn't a fan. I like a certain element of realism in TW and the R2 bloodpack seems realistic enough, if not a bit much again.

Yes, shogun 2 blood looks anime style. The game has so many artistic elements! Blood in R2 doesn't look so good to me maybe because the game itself doesn't look good. For an ancient Greek/Roman era preferring guy, I must admit that Shogun 2 is the best TW game so far.
