Icon4 Problem with mod to Steam

    Hail Brothers!

I've been creating my own units for Rome II game, also made some other changes in the appearance of many other units. Nothing complicated.

Up to version 1.4 of the game, the mod worked correctly .

I was still having my first impressions and did not have the original game. As a big fan of the total war series I was not surprised when I saw that the game is wonderful! recently made the purchase on Steam and the game was installed. Now that I have the original game, version 1.6, the mod did not work.

I put the mod folder again reloaded the game , and the mod did not work again. I deleted the files that altered " Land_Units " and " Main_Units " (Where altered two units of Thracian and capacity of Spartans and their strength). Reloaded game I tested again and it worked! I copied the mod for the steam directory and still did not work...

    Please help me out.
I do not know what can be.

I want to start playing my orginal game with blood and delete the pirated game ...

How can I put the file mod here?

i'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but since it worked on 1.4 but not 1.7, i would say the issue is that your older versions of land_units_tables and main_units_tables are conflicting with the other tables in the game that refer to those.

what you can do is export the up to date version of those two tables from your steam version of the game, make the changes you need to to those, use the PFMs 'Minimise DB files' option or whatever its called, and then use the rename all function in the PFM to add ezio_ to all the dbs and it should work.

    [spoiler]
    in steps:
    1) Open data_rome2.pack and extract the land_units_tables and main_units_tables
    2) Replace the tables in your mod with those
    3) Create the info for the units you want in ur mod
    4) minimise DB files
    5) Use the rename function to add a prefix to all your tables

This way, the game only loads in the rows you've actually changed and leaves the rest of the game untouched, so it should minimise your compatibility issues

    Thank you!

Was already noticing the difference between versions of the game... Obviously would never work. I changed the files and now works properly! Let's play! /o/

You know the mods we have here, which alter the colors of the factions?

This is not what I'm looking ... Long ago I had found a mod that removed the orange color of the Suebi, and adds two tones of brown.

With patch 1.7 the game now will not start again ... Files changed again?
These updates never end ... Longing the old games.
