When the campaign is giveing me a headache, or i'm just flatout bored of it, custom battle is always a good way of messing around with the game.
Start a custom battle, choose a non-city map such as a desert or grassland, then select 4 armies (2 armies with really good infantry and the other 2 with really good calvary).
Give the 2 defending armies the best infantry possible for there faction....and then for the 2 attacking armies give them the best calvary possible for that faction.
Start the battle and pause it, line up all your calvary in a double line (1 long line is far to long)...then have each calvary unit attack a single enemy infantry unit....after your done issueing orders unpause the game.....
Now you can watch as 40 calvary units barrel into 40 powerful inf units.....its a stunning sight. Especially if you run max settings like me (shadows off).....
It really reminded me of lord of the rings...lol...like at the end in the 3rd movie when the calvary just roll right over the enemy.
~~~~~~
Or You can try 40 calvary units vs 40 hoplites.....its a ridiculous sight watching calvary attempting to jump over spears and what not.
