    Default Wizzrobe conversion

Hello everyone. First I just want to say that this is a great mod that is really unique, and I want to thank its creators for putting so much effort into it

that said, what are the conditions for conversion on the wizzrobes? I sit a church near a city, wait there for 20-30 turns and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? I have ver. 3.0 with the patch installed btw.

edit: also forgot to mention that I have a general sitting in the fort and that it's close to the city and the province is normally strict goddess worship (hyrule)

I am sorry, but I must be missing something from that post, since it's basically what the Hyrule wiki says about the wizzrobes, and I have read that multiple times.

That's from before version 3.0, so it might have changed, or there is just a massive bug.

Several people have been having this problem. Try making multiple churches, preferably in the form of a pentagram. A young priest, and an old priest probably couldn't hurt either. If that doesn't work try lighting some incense and chant phrases from "Call of Cthulhu".

It seems to be a bug that comes and goes as it pleases.

Maybe it has something to do with a Wizzrobe fort sometimes not being enough to cause a rebellion in some provinces with high law, health, low unrest, and high garrison. I can say that wizzrobes causing rebellions in my provinces without an adequate way to stop them will get really old really fast.

So, should I keep trying to build churches at other cities then Vigjaro and see if I get a conversion effect? Also, should I keep restarting if I dont get a conversion effect around turn 20-30?

I've been having the same problem. I have the starting wizzrobe church near Vigjaro, and immediately (turn 2) had one built next to hyrule prime. Turn 40 rolls around and they're both still hylian...

Don't Vigjaro and Hyrule Prime both start with powerful law-giving buildings (being the Hylian and Wizzrobe palace structures)? It might be better to start with some smaller settlement first...

Tried it with Kakariko and a few other hyrulian towns. The kingdom *ALWAYS* declares war on me before the town converts. Which kinda ruins the point. Once I even bribed them most of the starting cash for an alliance and this STILL happened.

That said I've still beaten it with the wizzrobes (since as soon as I had earth-reapers nothing but the gorons posed any kinda threat) but it's kinda annoying to have that happen...

Quick additional point: The best tactic I've found for playing the wizzrobe is not to bother with conversion at all. Bribe Vigjaro and take Snowpeak on turn 1, then take Vigjaro plains on turn two. Then conquer the Lanyru, and from there you basically can't be stopped.
