    The Wedding at Yronwood

Ravens and riders have been sent all over the realm with invitations to come to the wedding of Ser Anders Yronwood and Lady Kyra Tyrell; a monumentous occasion marking the marriage of two houses who until recently have been perpetually at war.

On the High Dais there is room for both houses members attending and for any other high lords, tables down to the side are covered with platters and wine jugs as servants run to and fro making the room ready; two banners grace the hall, the golden rose and the gate of Yronwood. Storehouses from the Red Mountains to Planky Town to get the food needed to seat all the lords in the realm.

The only thing left for now is everyone to arrive, the bride's party having supposedly left King's Landing all ready.

The Tyrells arrived early, as they should. Victor lead the caravan of knights and wagons who guarded the beautiful Kyra. To ride through Dorne as a Reachman and not have to expect a group of men jump down on the from the mountains at any given time was relieving.

Victor and company entered the keep where Yronwoods had once ruled as kings, bringing wine from the Arbor, spices from Oldtown, fruits from Highgarden, meat from the Tarly lands and so many more riches from the fertile lands of green.

Lord Tyrell! How good to see you again, please come into the keep, we're nearly ready, if you want I can give you rooms till everyone else get's here, it should only be a few hours. Also, I forgot to discuss the dowry but as Yronwood is making so much money this year it is fine, there is no need to pay one.

"I am glad to see you again as well, lord Ormond."
Said Victor, taking the man's hand and shaking it. "I'll tell Kyra to prepare for the event, she will be ready when the guests have arrived." He thinks about the economic situation at home for a quick moment and responds. "Extra gold never hurts. I would be gladder to give you a appropriate dowry."

The guards stop her at the gate and ask her for her name.

If you really wish so Victor,
Ormond chuckles, Come in come in.

Victor smiles and signals for his servant to push the wheelchair forward. Behind him comes his two brothers, his older sisters with their husbands and lastly his younger siblings, among them Kyra.

Sirsha stares at the guard and his colleague with a slight smile, but it was not a happy smile. She felt her eyes widening.

The two guards sprint down the stairs and immediately pull up the portcullis and bow at her, you can smell the fear in the air.

Valena came riding towards the castle of her Yronwood cousins. They shamed Dorne! Oh, Velena was both furious and curious. How could an Yronwood be so stupid to marry that damn Tyrell girl. For decades that Reach scum wanted nothing more then burn their houses and bestow their stupid laws upon Dorne. Laws in which woman are enslaved and have nothing better to do then be silent dolls of modesty and chastity. So, naturally, she opposed this marriage. Her uncle seemingly wanted to built good relations with the Andals. She sighted, perhaps she was paranoid. Even the Martells had bound themselves to the kingdom. But that didn't mean that Valena was suddenly all alright with it. She would rather have fought for a thousand years then to submit to the dragon and its spawn. As soon as the Dornish came into to realm, war broke out. Seven hells, the crone had clearly left Dorne for the Stranger.

Despite her own personal feelings towards the match, Valena was dressed for a wedding - in a dramatically red dress, made of sheer mousseline and silks, tight to the body. It might shock the proper ladies of the Reach - Gods, she hoped so.

As Valena entered the keep all the guards ogled her and Lord Yronwood could barely keep his eyes off her. Glasping her tight he pulls her in for a hug which he keeps for slightly longer than may be acceptable.

Valena! So good to see you again, you've turned into a very beautiful women. I have some bad news to tell you though, it should best wait for inside. I hope you enjoy your cousins wedding.

He leans in close to her ear and whispered. I hope you are not too angry with the bride, it will help us create an independent Dorne one day, you'll see. Leaning out he gives her a small, more chaste, kiss on the cheek.

Valena walked over to her uncle, swaying with her hips and hugged him back. "Oh, I do hope so! I always enjoy weddings very much." she said happily - for a second forgetting the Reachmen. The happiness in her face broke a bit when he began speaking about the bride in question. Oh, that stupid wench. She smiled at him when he gave her a small kiss on the cheek. When it was her turn she kissed his cheek and wishpered in his ear. "This better be worth it.". Then she leaned back from her uncle and turned to the others. "So tell me, where is the lucky girl, who will wed my cousin, is she already here?" she asked in a loud voice and looked over to lord Tyrell - she guessed it was him, since she had heard he had broken legs and the woman standing beside him. "I want to see for myself if the beauty of the reach is unparalleled."
While scanning the room, her gaze fell upon a pale creature, wearing an armour. Not that was a sight she didn't expect from those proper lords and ladies, North of Yronwoods borders.

As intended, the Reachmen were made uncomfortable by Valena, both Rickard and Ulrick looked away. Lord Victor did his best not to show the discomfort and kept a courteous eye contact. Kyra looked at her feet uncomfortably. Victor decided to respond. "Seeing a true Dornish lady, I would not say that the Reach is unparalleled when it comes to beauty. Your rumour precedes you, lady Gargalen." He remember seeing their banner outside Highgarden. "I am lady Kyra Tyrell, daughter of the late lord Raymond. Sister to Victor." Kyra introduced herself and curtsied.

Leaning into whisper once more he says with a slightly vicious undertone. If this goes well it will be very good for you; I look further than an independent Dorne. Also, for my sake, keep it cordial. This wedding couldn't have been at a worse time. You could ruin this wedding and Dorne's hopes, or you could help it. As he steps away you can notice fresh lines of stress on his face and it looks like he may have been crying recently. You should also be very pleased, the King may be coming and then you can weave your charms on him, I hope for Cletus to be made a Kingsguard, politics is more than just war.

Valena smiled softly while looking at the Tyrells. Her appearance had its effect, she could sense it. A thing that pleased her. She liked the feeling that she was in control. "Then I hope that they speak kindly of me, my lord.". "I'm glad to meet you, lady Kyra. Oh no, it is more befitting I bow for you." she said and subsequently bowed for Kyra and house Tyrell. "I do hope that we will become friends; we will become family soon, you know. Ser Anders is my cousin." After that Valena didn't know exactly what to say to the girl. Lord Ormond had told her not to mess things up and clearly she had been far too loud already. She wondered; how would a gentle woman of the Reach solve such a problem? Perhaps it was time for a drink.. Lady Kyra seemed a nice girl. Such a shame she was thrown in this mess, because her family wanted it to.

    "Oh."
Kyra inhaled deeply through her nostrils. "I hope we become friends as well." A thousand red scorpions falling down on her during the wedding night, with the Yronwood's hand on the lever. She could see it clearly. "Do you have a husband?"

Oh gosh, to make things even more awkward, the girl asked about her husband. Could this be even worse? Valena stumbled "I eh.. i'm a widow."

Lord Ormond seeing that Valena was in a bit of a struggle walked over.
Though not for long I'm sure. He says with a grin. She's always been beautiful. But now Valena, I've had some rooms prepared for you, I'll come up later, I wish to speak in private. And Lady Kyra I've arranged some suites for you.
