Default My armies keep vanishing :(

I've been playing abit of Rome:TW recently, using the total realism mod, but i've had to stop playing as I lost 3 massive armies yesterday.

When I press the end turn button, they just vanish from the map (no battles take place or anything), and I get a news message saying that the general of that army 'passed away peacefully'. Even if the general dies, it shouldn't cause the 2000+ other troops in the army to die aswell!

Does anyone know why my armies are disappearing?

I know of no way that any army can just disappear like that without being bribed. Do you have any more details...?

That is not the coolest. I have an experience my full army disappeared and reappeared after two turns. It is computer problem and your army just "invisible" sometimes, or in your case forever. However, they are still in the game.
