    Thanks, guys!! Apreciate your support.

This week i'll post new previews (folk of Ulfang, that i'm finishing actually) and some other things, as a first list of credits and some battle screens...

The most hard work to make is the map, i'm not a veteran mapper and is one of the most important parts of the mod (and there's a lot of differents-and contradiction- between Middle Earth on First Age and Third Age)...but i'm working on it.

ExtremeBG, i read The Silmarillion near 25 years ago...so perhaps i'm a few outdate or wrong with things of the mod, i remember a lot of things, of course...but my memory is not a hardrive and sometimes i can't remember many things of Tolkien's books/lore (and actually i have not the books). If someone find a mistake about this, please, post here to work on fix the mistake...

It seems like an impressive amount of work you have done
Nope and yes at once...it's the work of the last 2 months, the only modding work that actually i have, after my external hard disk crash and lost all my work of years...

    Regards.

I'll try to write a introduction about Silmarillion and First Age in the open thread, to you don't need to read or read again the book (i know it's a hard book to read)

    tell me

have you implement the plans as you like huge cities?

  14. #14

    Default Re: LotR's Silmarillion

Edna, the settlement plans must be reworked (and the actual buildings too, they are nice but out of the timeframe of the First Age...not all of them, of course), but i didn't nothing by now about this (only on my brain and notes).

Nope, don't likes me huge cities, my idea is to only allows to built huge cities in a few settlements...Gondolin, Menegroth, Nargothrond caves...and the rest of settlement with many restrictions on built walls and many other buildings.

    Ok my last question.

How much percentage would you say the evil fractions are finished?

  16. #16

    Default Re: LotR's Silmarillion

    1.Folk of Ulfang-100% finished (a few minutes ago ).
2.Melkor and Sauron factions is my nightmare about units to this mod, actually the orcs and goblins host are the same that in original LotR, the problem is that i have not a good concept about them (better than LotR)...other type of units are finished, as balrogs (thanks and credits to Gollum and his mod "Arda TW"), giant spiders, Melkor (thanks and credits to Gollum and his mod "Arda TW", again), a few variations on LotR's orcs and some mercenary and regional units (evil men).

I would like to improve them as with the other factions (with a completely new tree of recruitment), but by now i can't see the light with this issue, sadly.

no no no my dear Milner.

If you have the dragon skinning then this will be a nightmare

  18. #18

dragon skinning?...explain me, please (by pm if you prefer).

I forgot to say that dragons are also included (general unit/hero -Glaurung- and as elite unit -smaller in size than Glaurung-), but i can't post them untill i had the reply for permission of the model's author.

Changing the texture/imae of the dragon is dragon skinning.
