Is Ran no Jidai Dead?

It is still active from what I understand. In fact Myrddraal just told me a few hours ago he recently remade the map (for the team).

it probably is... modding teams that have been active showing updates usually go into hiatus for time not showing previews and all of that because they are trying to finish the mod and when they are close they start showin previews again

No it is certainly not dead. There are just few of us and those few are concentrating on actually finishing the mod. So we are not continuosly posting updates on the forums.

You guys are great! Don't concentrate on making every damn faction. You can add more content later when the feedback comes - and I'm SURE it will come. A lot of us are waiting.

Once we were at holiday on Canary Islands and there waited 3 hrs for Pizza.
Finally when it came I just eated it, but didnt enjoy it anymore like normally does when going out to pizza.

Well... If you believe a modding team to be a full time professional restaurant staff, devoted to your enjoyement, providing a service in exchange of your money, I guess you can start looking for another forum you believe to be a restaurant.
Modds are not commercial products you, as a consummer, can rightfully order, require and enjoy, or start whinning about when its team gets thinner and buisy.

Best advice. Just ignore the mod if there are no progress. Don't even reply to any of the topics or check for previews... ignore it... if it's going to die... let it die.... don't give the mod any attention, until there is something worth commenting... everyone, stop replying to this section...

In dutch there is a saying :" Haast en spoed is zelden goed". Wich i translate as Haste and speed is rarely good. So don't hurry. I can wait. I prefer to play a finished game and not to have to download a lot of patches to rectify some errors.
