    Icon7 Third Age meets Aicon

Aicon icons are HarryBanna's project on Deviantart and for me they are the best dock icons at all. So, when I learned about Third Age and installed it, I was disappointed about the fact, that Harry never made an icon for Third Age. As I am very obsessed with look of my desktop, I decided to make one myself. I am uploading it here for those like me, with Photoshop skills little to none. I could find Third Age logo in good quality, so I used the one by YuriKenobi, give him kudos. My icon is 256*256 and it's definetely not perfect, so if you can improve it, you have my full permission, just post it in this thread after you are done. Thank you for your attention. I couldn't find a person who owns this picture, but if you recognise it - write the name of an artist in the thread, I'd be happy to mention him or her and express my eternal gratitude. For now, I can only say "thanks-a-lot" to King Kong, leo and HarryBanna.

For whatever reason it says that I cannot edit my posts, so I will fix it here: "I could not find Third Age logo in good quality, so..."

First of all thanks for the initiative.
That image brings me to think about how cool such drawings are and how they add immersion to the game. I would love to have a complete set of such images for all interface in TATW, as we dont, then using the movie images are enough to me.

Anyway, as much as I like this new icon, the tatw icon is already so adequate that I dont think it is a good idea to change it, I mean, its the one ring.
Makes a good base for sub-mods like dac and mos if they can edit it and add its names.

Cool stuff. Small as is this content, such contributions are positive to the community and helps to keep the mod alive.

It looks nice, but what's wrong with vanilla TATW's? Personally I quite like the look of the ring.

    Content's well good, innit.

Original is fine too, but... Well it is easier explained by a screenshot. This is my desktop and you can see that original image won't fit as good as this. And the Ring is really cool, but for me LotR wasn't just about the Ring: it's a story of people fighting a great war, something, none of the LotR games except TATW were able to show. So for me, the picture of Gondor swordsman fighting armored troll fits perfectly. It's one of those battles noone will remember, but still - it's part of a war.

More pictures like the first would be awesome additions to the UI. Also could serve as non-movie inspiration for new units >.>

On an unrelated note: I don't suppose you listen to GIAA do you?

Actually, I love God Is An Astronaut) And yeah, I wish we had more of them pictures too, but I am not even able to find an author of this one - it's just some picture that I found on the web and saved on my disk approximately a year ago (maybe a bit less). It's been resting there for a while, and when I decided to reinstall TATW and started searching for an icon, I remembered about this troll.
