    Default Warhammer Books

Hey I really like this mod, the only problem for me is I don't know any of the lore so the struggle doesn't realy matter to me. So I really just want to know what books would you suggest for me to read to get into this universe?

Welcome to warhammer, you gonna love it. But i warn you: After knowing Warhammer, every other universe out there seems pretty boring.

And here's a list of novels specifically (in the Warhammer fantasy universe): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...Fantasy_novels

Gotrek and Felix novels are the most popular, but there's tons of the stuff and I really hope the TW game CA is probably cooking up for Warhammer nails it, it's kind of a nail-biting time for Warhammer fantasy considering TW is my favorite series (when modded) and Warhammer is my favorite universe.

You can also read the Time of Legends books which talk about famous characters and events that took place in Warhammer and shaped the world. Like The Sundering (Elf Civil war), Empire (Sigmar's Story) and Nagash (Nagash's story). Also like David da Duke said, Gotrek and Felix is a good series to start out with. It's also one of my favorites.

That web page is so badly laid out its impossible to find anything from it.

Unfortunately Games Workshop are so greedy and litigious that its pretty much impossible to get any info anywhere else, except by buying rules books, army lists or Warhammer books (not Warhammer 40,000 which is the sci-fi version).

They are right that the Warhammer world is very interesting though.

Some of the books about The Sundering are a decent read, but books from the point of view of different characters seem to give different versions of what happened and in what order, which gets confusing.

Finished the sundering novels in a week, just started sigmars story

As an avid fan of the dark elves, upon reading the novels of the sundering I am even more enraged of the treachery and deceit of the high elves!
